It's only the last couple of months that their has been consistency of the message.

I hope this is them learning lessons.

The bottom line is, many are disgruntled because we've clearly gone backwards on the pitch.

I don't know whats going on behind the scenes and don't pretend to know.
I'd guess that Edin is trying to bring the club into line with other professional football clubs in terms of how it is being run off the field.
I'm guessing Roger was quite close to the previous owners and maybe feels he doesn't have the same influence over the current ones.
He was hardly Mr Discretion when posting on on the old C&B forum and sometimes came across a bit petty for a director IMHO.

Problem here is like what highly experienced people like @Bronco and @wetherbywhaler are implying are that the owners are not listening to experience people and considering they're new to the game then don't you think they should be?

Also you only have to take a look at their strategy. Do you believe in it? Looks unambitious and designed to save on wages if you ask me.

Plus add to mix the owners are not spending their own money investing in players then I think it's pointless giving these another year.

Like I said, I don’t necessarily believe in it but I’m not judging it yet. Time will tell and after that who knows. You know from running your own business (as I do) that it doesn’t happen overnight and the first 12/24 months are usually where failure happens.

The key is the next coach.

Have we ever had an owner that has spent their own money on players?

 

I'm hardly in ths same league as Roger Owen apart from the fact we have both supported the club for over 60 years.
Ironicaly sat at the next table to us last night at was the City physio from several years ago, I asked him just what was going on at our club and his responce backed up the comments I have posted from time to time on here.
Yes I know some will say "well you would say that" but one of the things he did say which seems to be coming to the fore more and more is Edin is getting the club a bad name within football circles, and that to me is far more concerning, especially as our last two owners built up a very good reputation within the football community for all their so called failings.

 

Is one of them motivational speaking?
