As far as i remember he's an active sponsor of the club or at least he was. Doesn't sound like someone who berates the club for no good reason. More like someone who is genuinely worried about how this club is run.

 

Thank you - you are correct regarding the sponsorship. Ive actually told MICK Shackleton that I’m done for the foreseeable under the present regime (this will probably change if we start improving). I am genuinely worried about the club, I’ve supported them through thick and thin, good times and bad. It breaks my heart to see it where it is, and how poorly it is run. Not sure where we go from here but this team is as bad as any I have witnessed.

 

I can't vote in that poll - it's worded too extremely.
As things stand, I think it's more likely than not that we are going down. Some seriously good player recruitment and/or a change of manager can save us, but I believe those are unlikely.
But I can't vote for, 'We are 100%' going down'. I'm not that certain (yet).

 

I suggest doing this poll after the transfer window closes in January.

As it is right now, if we were in this position in Feb, with the same bunch of players (and that includes Novak and Guthrie and Evans being fit), I'd say we're down. However, if we do somehow, by hook or by crook, manage to get some players in that can enhance this team, then I say we could improve and stave of relegation. Of course, who knows whats going to happen with CV next year. Will fans being allowed back in the ground help or hinder the performances on the pitch? Just like 2021, football, and Bradford Citys fate, are a totally guessing game.

 

I wonder if our CEO would take the same action. Too many similarities for me..

I have run our games through a predictor based on form todate; some randomisation of results (as you would expect) and some "genorous weighting" in our favour in some games and .. we're going down !

Forty plus points needed to stand any chance of avoiding non league football in 21/22. We have 13 pts from 15 games we need at least 45 in my view. So 32 from the remaining 31 games thats exceeding our current pts per game ave. We are in trouble and the evidence is out there every game.

Have you accounted for the dominant centre half,the box to box and ball playing midfielders the pacy winger and the 20 goal striker we are getting in January as well.

Ha ha Southend on minus 41 goals and Barrow om minus 18, Scunthorpe on minus 24, Stevenage on minus 14, Grimsby on minus 19 and us on minus 6. Yeah right we are going down. Don't know how much you paid for that software but it was a complete waste of money IMHO.

That prediction is garbage, I reckon we are good enough for 18th place, and that doesn't take into account all the super-duper new players signing in January!

 

At the moment we're only good enough for 23rd.

 

Said it on another thread that I can't see a way out of this.

I) 40 points is an absolute minimum. More likely, looking at the past 10 seasons 45+.
Ii) There is nothing to indicate that our form is going to improve. It reminds me of the post 'mini revival' slump in January of the relegation season from league one.
Iii) Apart from arguably the play off final season when we signed Charlie Wyke we have never, in the history of transfer Windows had a January recruitment that has had a positive impact on our season.

In short, we are fecked!
