McCall has to go now. Hope Rupp sells up soon, the regression of thd club over the last 3 years has been catastrophic, all under his stewardship. Reappointing McCall was incredibly short sighted and should never have happened. This lack of forward thinking and blind loyalty may well cost is our our league existence now. Heartbreaking. Im gutted to see us like this

 

Still thinks we can get in play offs. He’s no idea. Love him but he’s never been a manager and never will be

Get rid of clown macall and rhodes

 

Just struggle to see how some one else can improve us significantly enough when the squad is as bad as it. Cook, Cowley (could say Pep or Klopp), would still have the same not good enough players.

 

As shown in previous tenures in charge, McCall hasn’t got the ability to be able to turn this around. He’s assembled possibly the worst City team ever and thinks an unproven 18 yr old from Wolves is the final piece of the jigsaw. His subs tonight were baffling and weakened us significantly (bar Staunton). The constant change in formations and tactics doesn’t help players who currently can’t get the basics right. He needs to go ASAP or he’ll be in danger of being the club legend that helped lead us into non league. Should never have been reappointed in the first place and him returning sums up how broken the hierarchy of the club is.

Agreed. I didn’t have an issue with his appointment - had it been as a throw of the dice to push us on last season after our wobble. But it should never have been beyond the end of the season (unless of course he’d got us up).

 

Only hope someone can come in and sign 2/3 free agents worth their salt to keep us from getting too far adrift by January. Wishful thinking in the extreme I know.

 

Some idiot on Radio Leeds says McCall loves the club and that's why he should be retained. Is that the qualification for the job?

The club needs to look at McCalls history.

1. When a club is in this position what is his record?

2. Is he a person who has demonstrated an ability to turn things around?

In my opinion his record is clear. The answer to those two questions is 1. Poor and 2. No.

The squad is SO bad, and I don't share Stuart's idea that working hard will fix it, I'm genuinely worried that if we can't beat anyone above the bottom four, then we'll soon be in it.

I also don't really see what he can do with that squad to change it. 4-4-2 is a no as we don't have any wingers, 3-5-2 is a no as we don't have any wing backs... maybe the diamond really is our best formation?

Me also. Sad, cos we all love him to bits, but he just can't cut it as a manager when things are going against him. It's out for me, and bring in an experienced man maybe til the end of the season, to try and jump start us up to mid table.

 

He's gotta go. 5 wins in first 19 games. It must be one of the worse %rate returns as a Bradford City manager?

If there was a compelling reason that we were losing games, or a bright projection for the future, that would be one thing - but we're not getting that, we're getting told that it's good enough and we'll do fine.

Well it's not good enough, and there's little chance of things being fine when our players are THAT bad.
