First game of the season last year..... I remember screaming at my TV until nearly 2.00am (kick off time here midnight) for someone, "anyone" to go the FG keeper who kept walking the ball well outside his penalty area and try to get the ball off him.... it was so painful to watch, apparantly Bowyer told I strikers not to which was about right for him!

 

i remember that game. It was completely bazaar. We allowed him to walk with the ball almost upto the half way line.

I would like for us to win, but more realistic is a 1-1 draw with Guthrie on target.

Gone 2-0 Forest green on prediction league. An established side at this level now forest green. Consistent with same manager too who knows what it takes.
We are toothless and don’t create much either if last couple of games are to go by. Players confidence may be short after mid week too

 

Forget talk of 'big club' or 'massive stadium' in this division. The likes of Fleetwood and Accrington have shown what having evryone from the top down singing off the same hymn sheet can do to teams that are supposedly small time. Our support and big capacity mean absolutely knack all, its how you're run and what message is passed down from the powers that be in the boardroom. If the desire for success is anything less than 100% in ambition and planning then you can kiss it goodbye.

0-0 for me again. From what I’ve seen of Forest Green their football stinks the place out worse than a vegans fart at times, unfortunately we are no better. I think we’ll have majority of the ball but do little with it, if anyone is to win it’ll most likely be them 1-0.

 

Going back to his old club nearly always going to score.

 

He will probably have an absolute stinker like he did against Stevenage last season
