Dean Furman on trial at Carlise after coming back from South Africa.

 

Certainly need another body in midfield, would take him for sure if he's anything like the he was 4 or 5 years back. He did an interview not too long back at the start of lockdown wanting to find a L1/2 club in the north. Moved back to Manchester to be near his wifes family in early 2020 when she became pregnant.

 

Probably well settled darn sarf, wouldn't bother moving for a few hundred quid a week.....

 

I wouldn't class either Pritchard a winger or clarke a striker both can play a number of positions granted but if you see them 2 as said postions then I must watch a different team to you as the last time Pritchard played he was more of attacking midfielder and so was Clarke under stu. Both actually play similar postions majority of the time at the tip of the midfield whether it be a 4-4-2 diamond formation or 4-2-3-1

 

Just can’t see us bringing in another wide player. He’s already got Pritchard, DMH & Ismail as wingers, and has already suggested Sutton can play there if needed.

We defo need an experienced right-back (he may even go for a wing-back and not use wingers from the start) and a goalscorer. After that, I can’t see anyone else coming unless he ships out 1-2 first

 

Problem is we don't ship goal scorers in....we ship 'em out...

 

When we were playing at our best last season September October Pritchard was playing on the left He puts a good cross in

 

4 or 5 years ago? He was at Supersport United in South Africa.

He was at City 11 or 12 years ago, and he's now 32.

 

He's too slow on the left in my opinion, can't take his man on. I'd rather have him coming in from the right onto his left foot or playing just behing the striker(s) where he was at his most effective last season... he's got a good shot on him and is a creative player who an put people through on goal

 

And I am from Idle, well Thorpe Edge, went to school at Thorpe Infants and Thorpe Middle School.

Just lacking bit of quality out wide for me. Let's hope ismail turns up this season and dmh being working on his end product. Can also see stuart going with wood and sutton as wing backs at times this season.

Not saying he doesn't but explaining he has played more centrally for us rather than out wide and also in the centre is the postion he has scored goals from.
