Sport isn't going to stop as the government will be talking to all sporting bodies.

The issue here is the government is failing with the testing. We need more testing.

South Korea and Australia are getting back to normal because everything is about testing in them countries. We can't even test our NHS staff. Boris failing us at the minute and needs to up his game.

It's starting to not make sense.

Spending all this money, got police with drones to spot the dog walkers.

Those that die from this are not getting to see their families as you say and can't say goodbye. It's awful.

The we going to have high debt, increased homeless, business closed, self employed companies ended, domestic and child abuse increase and nothing can be solved until we have a vaccine which could be 12 months anyway.

To make matters worse the country is run by scientists who didn't tell the government to get ready in the 1st place.

This is a mess and the world is playing right into it.

 

possibly but sending them back to a care facility with however many other patients can not be good for the rest of people. It doesn’t make it any easier to take even if it is understandable.

 

Absolutely dreading this being a chef a in a care home .
We've had all our spare beds bought from.the nhs ready so they can empty beds for the more needy .
Been told any of our sick people wont be going to hospital no.matter what's wrong with them to save beds for corona patients .

 

I don't think we know that the scientists didn't warn the government. Plenty of anecdotal evidence that the initial strategy was informed by the Government's political advisors until it became clear they knew jacksh1t. Even the Daily Telegraph have been challenging the Government, as has The Times for days.

Sadly I really can't see how this virus can be beat not just once but numerous times, perhaps we can only leave it to take it's course, think it's even more grim than what we are being told....

No I agree. But even in normal times, I am not sure in many cases, it makes much sense in sending them to hospital, just let them go. It happened with my dad and he was "kept alive" 2 years after he should have gone.

 

Failed? I'm not sure we've failed at anything. Just sometimes the world has a habit of biting back and letting you know whose boss. People die. It's terrible. But it's happened before and will happen again. We're all expendable, the world will still keep turning despite a few thousand more deaths to the yearly total. We'll get over it, always have.

Doesnt stack up to me. If you have a life threatening condition, why would a bed be denied? Its not acceptable to die from covid but it is from something else?

Something stinks about all of this.
