Well that is a surprise. I was at Valley Parade this evening for Bantams Fit Fan. The growlights were on in front of the goal mouths but I couldn't see lights on in the offices.

Edit: I understand the Supporters Board was meeting this evening. Not sure what time or where, but I couldn't see lights on. An alarm went off in the Commercial suite just after 8.

 

Just as they did for the scunny goal - two defenders backing off - who coaches that.

we have a flu season here, one of the things they do is if numbers suggest the flu is rife, as a public health policy they close all the schools for a few days to try and stop the spread. Load of bollocks obviously but I'm not complaining. Oh, and then there's snow days, as little as half an inch and they close schools. and if that's not bad enough, if its cold they close school too (the cut off is 0 fahrenheit actual or windchill).Its all to do with liability issues if something happens . Remember this is the country where mcDonalds lost a case because a customer scaled herself on coffee). Still get paid though.

 

Does this club never learn, Nolan would be an appalling choice. One decent season at Notts county and then nothing. Played for and learned his trade under Sam Allardyce. Say no more.

 

If we appoint Kevin Nolan then there was no point in sacking Bowyer.

 

I feel awful saying this but I don’t trust the Board to get this appointment right. We have had words in print from Julian and Stefan about their ambitions, but their actions speak differently. According to Ryan Sparks we have no financial problems all the decisions are football based. Yet we make the decision to postpone the pitch maintenance. At any time during the January window they could have sacked GB, to give time for a new manager to bring in a couple of players so he might be able to play in his style.
Now we just have to get this next appointment right both in the short term and long term so we can start building our identity after Rahic ripped the heart and soul out of this club. If this appointment is based on finance first, this continuing nightmare might not be over for a long time.

Lastly we need a SMART Plan for 2/5/10/15 years, that we can work towards. We can’t even do that until we know what Stefan is doing either in the short term or long term. Bradford City as a club need to earn the supporters trust back, transparency should be the cornerstone of trust.

Ryan Lowe has crept up that list out of nowhere. No way he'd leave Plymouth though surely?

 

I don't believe Ryan and I am not convinced Rupp is interested in the club.

I believe they wanted to get this window out of the way so they could reduce the wages and not allow the new manager to bring his own players in.

Look, like they will be going with McCalll which always seems to be the go too now.

Do we have a plan? I don't know.. are we struggling financially? Maybe so.

Think it's all short term thinking.. get McCall in, season ticket sales then hope for promotion.

Think Rupp just wants out, so no long term plan.
