You certainly know how to announce your arrival on the forum. What do you think of Bowyer and is he getting sacked in the morning.

 

Fingers crossed, but unlikely

 

Do you know what, if the club decide to stick with him for the rest of the season, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't sack him in the summer either. They'd come out with some crap about this season being one of consolidation after last year, and needing time for Gary's new team to become established. They'd say the players gave it a good go but it just proved to be a 'season too soon' for them. The club would argue that Bowyer always said it was going to take 3 windows to build his team so they'll give him time over the summer to finish the job. Honestly, nothing would surprise me anymore with this club so if we got off to a flyer in August, I could see them starting the campaign to get 20,000 season tickets for the 21/22 season in September.

 

48 hours on from yesterday's defeat and we still await a statement from the heirachy.
Shows what they think of our fanbase.
Want our money but put two fingers up when we voice our opinion on the current state of affairs.

 

They'll all be too busy washing their hair ready for tonight's 'Magic of the Cup' event.

If City stick with Bowyer and carry on playing in the same tactics, with the same results, I do not know how they expect to shift STs, let alone get fans to turn up for the remainder of this season. Past the point of caring now. The mis-management of this transfer window has sucked the last drop of optimism out of me.

 

My comment was "fans would see straight through a lie" which at the present time many would question any little snippet of information coming out of our club.
Why would there be a need to lie we all want the same thing for the club success, and if there is a question he's asked that Ryan is not prepared to answer say I'm sorry I'm not the person who could answer that as he apparently did at the last supporters meeting where he was present.
It does seem strange that you post on here and defend Ryan which is commendable then say "stop shooting the messenger" yet Ryan's official title is "Director of Communications".

 

I've lost the plot clearly like a certain Mr Bowyer.

 

I got into him on Twitter Friday night about his comments that our poor form was to do with Doyle. He challenged me and said where did I say that? Sent him the link and labelled to skip to 2:15. Got nothing back of any note. The silence was deafening from the Communications officer. Unforgivable blaming Doyle what a dirty trick. Forgot to mention the shit we've had to put up with since way before xmas never mind January.

Are the club supposed to release a statement every time we go in a poor run of form? That's tinpot even for us.

 

As you know @BSABantam74 I have been a supporter of Bowyer's and I don't know the answer to your above question, but can I suggest the the board may see things very differently to fans, ie Bowyer is given the rest of this season whether we get promoted or not.
They then allowed Bowyer to bring more of his own players in with the following season (Bowyer saying it would take at least 3 transfer windows) being the season to make a serious challenge for the autos, if so the club IMO can wave goodbye to anything like 20,000 season tickets being sold for season 2020/21.

 

Yes his official title is “Director of communications “ but he is employed to communicate what the club tells him, that isn’t necessarily what the fans want to hear. I have defended him because he is being attacked from all corners for doing what he is told to do. To do otherwise would cost him his job. I’m not saying it’s ok to lie to the supporters, but at the moment anything coming from the club is indefensible (in supporters eyes) unless it’s “Bowyer has gone”. I accept that is probably what the club should be saying

 

The club just can't get their appointments right.Then we wonder why we are getting worse.

Embarrassment

 

This isn't about a poor run though is it.
The football performances under Bowyer have been nothing short of dire all season home and away.
Not once have we truly bossed a game.
Bowyer tactics leave a lot to be disired.
The statement I'm after is not an interim one.
It's about the direction and future if our ailing football club.

 

I’ve followed Bradford for many years and started going occasionally with my dad many decades ago. We have had many troubles down the years with re-elections and the tragedy of the fire. But in football terms, this feels like the worst few years I can remember.

I just can’t see the board sacking Gary. If they were going to do so, they wouldn’t have left him in charge of transfers. Whoever comes in now has poor strikers and nobody whose whole game is about winning back the ball and stopping teams cutting through us. Why would they appoint someone to look poor with the squad left by Gary?

I see the change coming towards the end of the season
