wasn't it said after the match last night that the original plan was to give him 30mins vs cheltenham but due to the offers for doyle and vaughan, the manager spoke to donaldson who himself said he'd get to an hour.

 

Did you see Connor Wood pick it up and bundle it into the front row to waste time though?! Lol

 

My highlight was Charlie getting the ball and running up the steps with it.

I didn't listen to the radio commentary, my comment about Clayton not being ready for the full 90 was correct, thought he did well the time he was on the pitch shame Devitt couldn't control himself after his first challenge, although I'm sure he wanted to show what he could offer now he's back.
All in all a very good rear guard action from the lads.

 

If it is the incident where Wood was booked, it was a perfectly timed clean tackle that took the ball and not the man. It was a ludicrous decision by a poor referee to book him for an excellent piece of skill.

 

Possibly at the angle that I saw it but Woods looked the worse tackle of the night he was airborne with both feet off the floor

 

Yeh I do tbh you clearly don't have the capacity to understand what I am saying so I'll will give you the benefit of the doubt. City go down to 10 men so then the go to setting is boot the ball out instead of playing any form of footy okay then.

 

They defended excellently that is good football

 

Yes I can comprehend what your saying and still say it' not the way any professional would go about the task of defending a one goal lead against 11 men, so I still disagree pal.

My first instinct on both Devitt's silly challenges were "he'll get booked for that", the second challenge I knew he was off right away.

Both challenges were ugly, and would have looked bad even if he got the ball. He just don't lunge in like that, particularly when you've been booked.

Very poor, very silly from Devitt, and if Bowyer genuinely does mete out harsh punishments for red cards like he seems to when he's dropped others, Devitt will not be a favourite with Gary right now. Did his manager zero favours.
