What the hell does he say in his team talks??

I deliberately looked at our starts to each half today..

1st - We had our first shot (blocked effort from Vaughan) before that Scunthorpe had had 5 efforts on goal with one being the great one on one save from McGee.

2nd - Our first shot in the 53rd minute or 8 minutes in (break away effort from Cooke) Scunthorpe had 4 shots proper prior to this and were completely dominating us.

It is dreadful, the attacking intent is non existent and then to blame the players for not passing forward when they literally have no such options due to the negative set up.

We should thank Gary Bowyer for stabilisating this club but I truly believe he has taken us as far as he can.

One of the worst mistakes the club made was keeping him as assistant.

He needs to go also.

 

Bang on. An ambitious club wouldn't think twice after watching 27 games of complete shite and fluking our way into 5th. But we don't, especially Rhodes, so he'll be seeing out the season at least.

 

Rupp will probably just look at the league position. It's not as if he has a track record of letting the club go to shit through ignorance, is it?

 

I'm going to just boycott it at this point.

I understand I'll probably be the first person to do so but it's a waste of a day and if I have to see Palmer run around like he's on an apprenticeship again I'll end up gauging my eyes out.

If we were 5th and playing decent football it'd be a different story but we've been outplayed all season when we've got a better budget and fan base than 90% of the table. Best of luck to you faithful folk that continue to watch, you deserve far more than you'll ever get from this team.

 

I've championed Gary Bowyer through out this present season and although most of the time it's been crap (yes were still only 2 points off an auto) after going 2-0 up totally against the run of play he for some reason thought we could hang onto the points, although to anyone watching the game there was only one team playing football.
Just listened to Radio Leeds who said Scunthorpe's two goals we crackers, no they weren't if a player with the skill of Gilliead is allowed to cut in from the wing and run at goal without a challenge he will score goals like that, did we learn did we f**k once again a Scunthorpe player is allowed to pick the ball up around the half way line (possibly in his own half I'l have to watch the video clip) and run unchallenged to the edge of our area without a challenge and we wonder why McAtee can pick his spot and slot it into the bottom right hand corner.
Today was a big day where the players could have got a bit of credibility back after Crawley, now we have to start again on Tuesday night at Colchester who are just outside the play off places and then away to Mansfield who we hardly looked convincing against the other week taking two penalties to secure the points.
I wont bet against my team but I can see us getting little or nothing from the two games and then Mr Bowyer will know what pressure is all about.

 

The guy is lacklustre, thanks for the help but Warnock is the man to take us out of this shit

 

I hate Warnock with a passion, probably dates back to the Watson tackle, but at this moment we need someone to come in and sort the shit storm out.

We have to give Bowyer until the end of the season. We’re 2 points from automatic promotion and have occupied the play off spots for a long time. We’ve only lost once in the past 11 matches too, so let’s keep the faith and carry on.

Yes, I agree the football is pretty grim but the stats speak for themselves. We’re doing pretty well factually speaking yet if you were to read these boards without looking at the table you’d think we were mid-table.

 

We're just one of many in that position though, we had it in the bag at one point.

Now there's a glut of teams and nothing between them.

We might be fifth, but we've been clawed back by the peloton.

Matter of time now.

 

No way Warnock comes to us. We're in League Two now, we'll get some other shit manager.

Obviously I'd welcome Warnock with open arms, he probably would've twatted Mellor if he saw that performance

 

I wonder what the odds would have to be for Palmer to contest a loose ball. He clearly doesn't have the stomach for 50/50s, or even 60/40 in his favour. 70/30? 70/30 might tempt him.

Warnock has already stated that he would welcome being manager of a League 2 side.

 

We should be mid table. We are shite, absolutely shite. Every week you watch our games and don't know who's in the playoffs and who's mid table or lower. We completely fluked our way into this position through own goals, penalties, defensive howlers and red cards. The luck has worn out and we're getting the correct results to match our performances. We've no identity, no style, no plan and most obviously no tactics other than don't concede. And when that plan goes tits up, we're fecked. If Bowyer stays we finish outside the playoffs it's as simple as that for me.

 

Why WUM ? Have you not seen us play this season ? We’re utter shite
