    Have I missed something? I don't think he said anything that burned his bridges with City. In fact, how do we even know that he hasn't given it some thought and would rather come back himself too

    I sincerely hope its true, and he is returning.
    I've said it countless times but we'd be mad not to call him back.

    also, if I see/hear anyone else prattling on about how he won't do anything for us and using that as a reason he should stay at Swindon I think I'll scream.
    I don't give a toss if he comes back to warm the bench, we can't just let him stay at Swindon after banging in that many in the first half of the season. that would be insane.

    but as it happens, I said in the summer I was quite happy if he stuck around because I think he would be good in League 2, we now know he IS good in League two so lets bring him back, get him back in the squad playing in a two up front. lord knows he's better than bloody Oteh, or a winger playing up there.

    I hope Leeds go up. They've spent and try and spend money in the correct way and most of their fans, certainly compared to the puffed up Terriers, have a pretty good self-depreciating sense of humour

    Doesn't change my passion for City

    Similar to when Anthony O'Connors (nominated for the December player of the month, I see) Exeter performance was raved about by lots of us - but, amazingly we still had some that openly stated they would never praise him after last seasons so called 'armband / or captaingate', er, scandal :rolleyes:

    Because i think they've spent enough time outside The Premiership. I've had my 16 seasons of fun and it's getting boring teasing my Leeds mates. We were never in their category anyway.

    It's far more fun berating the arrogant Town fans, who we still have a chance of been in the same division next season. They tend to go quiet when you say that to them!!

    Their fans have no malice with us at all, i went to school with a lot of Leeds fans, there were as many of them as us and that was a school the other side of Bradford to Leeds. Most of the fans i know have a soft spot for us, the fact we don't like them just humours them. I'd love to have the derby back with them though, you live for those games.
