Fordy, i really hope for your sake you aren't on the end of a big defeat tomorrow. Whilst 99% of Bradford fans on here have contributed well back and forth with us Swindon lot, you have been needlessly aggressive and dismissive towards us. Lots of remarks like 'Enjoy the playoffs' and 'Can't wait until we beat you'. Just comes across a bit childish.

 

Fordy is a bit childish. He's like our mascot.

No being abusive, just stating the obvious. Like I said I have no feelings for BCFC, on the whole their fans have been accepting of our comments and complimentary of our football. Entrepreneur Fordy however couldn't/wouldn't find it in him to have such humility. Hair new year all other Bantams

He has already publicly stated he doesn't want to return and who could blame him being shoe horned into a position totally foreign to him and one he doesn't enjoy playing
He would come back and sit on the bench and collect his extortionate wages (for this level) till the end of the season when he walks away for nothing
Unless GB plays to his strengths (unlikely) seeing as he wont play to Vaughans strengths even against the bottom of the league at home
May as well use his wages on another midfielder/centre half GB likes those

 

Some of our own fans like to wind up others before games on social media. Mostly kids, but not always.

I find it cringeworthy as they look right tools if/when it backfires.

 

Whats £100k worth to us now ? We need a blooming goal scorer that happens to already be a Bradford City player. Sod the £100k its gotta be worth that to have him back with the realistic chance of seeing us out of this god damn league !?

 

Your right one defeat either way won't make or break yours or City's season, but if we do get beat come back for the laugh, some really do take defeat badly, may the best team win or maybe a point apiece.

 

I notice that Doyle's strike partner Jerry Yates is being considered for a recall to Rotherham, according to an article in the Sheffield Star newspaper.

Me listening to Fordy you have a good argument but I just think if he comes back he plays wether he likes it or not. He has his career to think about. If he gets over himself and plays to the best of his ability he will have a choice at the end of the season. Who wants a sulky player? He is a professional player being paid by City atm. Yes there is a financial case to be made, and I suppose it depends how much and would that all be invested into new players including a striker.

 

Of course, wouldn’t we all. We are a difficult team to play against and I have no doubt Bowyer will Park the bus and go for a nil nil.

 

I can empathise with that point of view. But our owners saw fit to compromise on spending that sort of amount on the pitch in the summer. 'Sod 100k' doesnt come into the thinking of our powers that be. We're not that ambitious
