Fordy, Ismail was on the substitutes bench yesterday, presumably he was fit to play at some point.

 

Chance to pull away/gain ground on at least 2 of our rivals with Plymouth vs Swindon and Forest Green vs Exeter

 

I can't see us getting 5 penalties in one game.

 

No Aleman, it was 5-0 to them! Ellison all 5, you heard it here first.

 

Why do I look at these type of games and immediately think, oh here's a game we should win but you just have that feeling, we will lose........

 

I've always loved/hated him. What a bloke he is! Reminds me of Tony McMahon with the winding up part lol

 

Let Ellison stay after the game and he can replace Drury as Assistant Manager, can't do worse and has more experience...

 

It would be good to see 442 or 433/4231 in this game. Playing against a team that will be content to sit back and pile men behind the ball we need width to break them down. Having Connelly and Ismali on the wings will cause them trouble (as it did for most teams who they came up against).

Hopefully Pritchard is fit as he is our most likely goal scorer from midfield.

 

The pitch won't have recovered from the other day so I really can't see us playing nice tip tap football.
This game is primed for good old fashioned hoof ball nothing less.
One goal in it.
Route one,hard and long and hope to get on the end of it.

I know its not the best team but it gives the likes of Reeves, Cooke, Vaughan, O Connor, Connelly and Mellor a rest before the Swindon game whilst also been good enough to get us a win.

 

GB already said Pritchard no chance for this one....

 

Not for me.

Play our best available team and get the win. We aren't even close to being good enough to start being arrogant and rotating our squad.

 

A back four would be better no problems with that. Pritchard, Reeves, Vaughan and Connolly have to play. Other two can be whoever to fit around the others. Not bothered who.

 

Pritchard has to play? Even though Bowyer has already said he won't be ready?

 

If Pritchard isn't fit i think McCartan is a more than capable replacement. Whilst Sunday's game wasn't a classic I thought he was decent and had some good touches linking midfield and attack. I'd like to see him given more opportunities

 

In an ideal world where everyone is fit. Remind me, next time i'll put a disclaimer at the end of the post.

Agree, play him just behind Vaughan, move Connolly out to the wing, drop to a back four and bring Ismail or even Gibson in down the other wing. Let's start attack minded ffs!

 

Some on here wrote him off after the last game, 'he's had his chance and blown it. Deserves a run of games to at least get used to playing that position.
