    You’re comparing a manager who has no say other than the first team to a man who was in control of everything from the budget right down to who was hired at the club, to what repairs we carried out on the pitch and what sponsors we picked. A man who could and did effect everything at the club.

    If bowyer has a disagreement with some players or player (totally unfounded and just theories as to why a poster may change), then how can he be compared to a former CEO/owner? Bowyer would be dismissed if he caused player unrest these days and results were sliding. Totally different scenario and you know it. Just chose to throw around the thick line because you couldn’t think of much else to say.

    Rhodes etc would be the one you could compare to Rahic. Not bowyer. It’s dramatic and a useless comparison.

    Not for me. I don't think he'd offer more from right back than what we have and whilst he could 'do a job' in midfield, there are probably better OOC defensive midfielders about. That said, Bowyer clearly doesn't think we need one.

    yep he's on the decline byut the impoertant question is he better than what we've got. I would even be tempted to plonk him in defensive midfield but I think O'CFonnor may play that role with Paudie in the back four
