Wide players though, not strikers.

 

I only know him through football as he helped with some coaching with my nephew which is how I know how tough the lad had it being released by Leeds and then had a trial at Bradford and told he wasn’t good enough . Went away and worked on his game and then was signed by Leeds again.

He did a few coaching sessions helping out the bloke who helped him get back to being signed again. Which is where I met him that’s how I know his story . I haven’t seen him for over a year but I did follow him and he was on the verge of breaking in to Leeds’s first team and then the manager got sacked . Bielsa has a totally different playing style so maybe doesn’t see Ryan in his plans but he really could do a job for us.

just for the record I think someone mentioned Ryan Edmondson was 20 he’s only 18 years of age. I think Bielsa says there’s quite a few in the pecking order in front of him who have more experience but is one for the future .
Don’t know how everyone else sees it but we could give him the experience in league 2 and give him that step up. No doubt he can play at this level a big lad and a natural eye for goal.

Bagged loads in the U23’s last season. Before anyone says it I know it’s a totally different level of playing and I totally agree, but he’s definitely worth a look at if Leeds we’re willing to loan him out .

 

I recall some having a similar view on Miller, last season ..........

 

He would learn a hell of a lot from both Donaldson and Vaughan if we signed him.

 

Bowyer has made it clear again, that despite wanting to bring in a couple more players, budget wise, its dependant on moving some out.

Be a shame if we cannot do so, but Bowyer has also stated earlier this summer, that it will take more than this window to get the squad he wants in place

Very much so. And I'm sure all would hope to see a few 'moved on'. Because like it or not (no evidence to confirm this ), our midfield is still what I consider 'weak'. This could be exposed in a few games, where City will need to grind out a result or two ...... Will there be enough guile and tenacity to do just that, as things stand ?

 

Bowyer stated a few days ago that there is still room in the budget if he juggles things around. It could possibly mean a loan or two to still come in but if we want to make permanent signings we need shut of a few.

 

Bowyer watched weeds last week at Tadcaster Albion and this lad Edmondson scored 3 . Could be something in this rumour unless he was watching another player .

 

There is a lad called Robbie Gotts who also scored and it was claimed Bowyer was watching both players. Gotts played on the wing in that game but someone stated he’s a defensive midfielder and can also play at fullback.

Be good signing for them if they pull it off. If we had managed to offload AOC, wouldnt have minded him myself. However, as it stands, we have enough cover for centre backs

 

He has a good agent, who have whispered City were a basket case, wasn’t played in the right role etc etc, and he will be showing them all the goals he has scored, a few will be sucked into that line. If somebody wants to cough up a decent fee, I would snap their hand off. He is a limited striker that has to have all the ducks in a row before he can score. GB has probably a very good young striker already lined up.

 

Played the way it was set up in the first half yesterday Doyle will score goals. So I will be happy if he stays on the other hand if his wages and transfer fee helps us to strengthen overall I would be happy with that.

 

Ive seen Edmonson for York. Big lad, good touch. Needs a few games in league 2. I’d honestly say he’s better than miller who we had on loan. Would score a few im sure or atleast be a beneficial addition as a back up striker

 

Lol. Hope Bolton end up signing Billy Clarke as is rumoured. Their fans were quick to tell us how poor Donaldson was for them when he signed.

 

Cannot see Leeds loaning him out. With Leeds' strikers struggling either for form or fitness this pre season, i think they will be holding onto him for the foreseeable future
