if he is on trial I'm totally okay with that - nothing wrong with having a look, seeing if he's fit and if he's still got any ability. he looked decent when he was younger. and since he hasn't had a club for ages he'd be very cheap.

 

That’s a shock when both Celtic and Rangers were after him up in Scotland and Sunderland , Portsmouth ,Hull and Swansea from down here.

I wouldn't argue if it is. We have to balance the books somehow and that looks like the only realistic way be competitive but stay close to the budget.

You say you’re waiting for Fordy to come on and say any money from McBurnie sale will be ‘gobbled up’, but then follow that by saying “Fordy seems to think otherwise’?

I think this all stems from the meeting that the club had a while back that WOTP and others attended. Didn’t @Jason McKeown then write up a piece saying that someone at the club had confirmed what the budget for this season was and that any money received would go back to Rupp, as he had paid off the overspend from last season and added £1m to this season’s pot?

 

Yes he is. I was hoping we’d sign him on loan a couple of seasons ago, following Mezza’s move...... but we signed Chicksen instead....!
