James Vaughan - supposedly signing/signed and to be unveiled Monday
Joe Ledley - Rumoured to be coming on trial

That’s about it.

 

Or training at a club that you happen to be staying near at the time, didn’t Colin Doyle train at Portsmouth after leaving us because his family were down there on holiday. Then he moved to Scotland

 

I think it's also been recently rumoured that we are chasing a left winger - nobody's prepared to name them but allegedly it would be real sign of intent if he joined us.

I’m not sure it ended at the Premier League. In fact, I’d argue that it ended with 2 administrations and relegation to League2

It did and the reasons are many and we've been down that road before. Speculating to accumulate got us there though, that's the point. Coasting along as we are will see us up and down L1 and L2 for the foreseeable future. A bit of investment and vision and the Championship is in sight. Beyond that, who knows.

 

Reid left City after the 2015/16 season, as did Phil Parkinson. Mark Marshall started only 8 times that season out of 31 league appearances. Reid, on the other hand, started 34 out of 36 of his appearances. It was clear which of the 2 PP rated and why Marshall never really got a fair crack. Same argument for Josh Morris too.

The following season, once McCall arrived and Reid had left, Marshall started 38 out of his 44 appearances.

My point is that I don't know why you would be so narrow minded to just aim at a small percentage of the market when the function rooms can be used for any type of wedding or indeed any type of party.

A huge profit will also be made on sale of alcohol and that has to be factored in when discussing profitability of these type of events.

Not really mate. Depends on who we are talking about when we refer to ‘Asians’. As you’ve said, Asia is a massive continent and includes people from all types of ethnicity. Japan drink alcohol (think Sake), as do Chinese (think Baijiu or Sinkiang). Indian nationals have many beers, whiskies and wines.

But if we are referring to people that come from the likes of Pakistan, Bangladesh etc, that are Muslims, then you’ll find they don’t tend to drink alcohol or even want to go to places that serve it. Obviously, you will get some Muslims that aren’t as devout or simply do not fully practice their faith, but when arranging venues, you’d expect the majority would find it an issue.

Didnt realise hed been released and he hadn't played for that long. In that case a trial might be in the offing, just think with the calibre of player he is, and his experience, we shouldnt mess about. Anyhow, could be complete bullshit at this stage. In my opinion, hed be an awesome signing for any L1/L2 side
