They were doing alright till they got taken over. Always been in the bottom 3 or 4 budget wise when in the championship. Lost a few of their best players last season and not replaced them, just like us.

The owners will chose something out of the bargain basement that Rahic can develop.

I think another good candidate would be Gary Bowyer. He has done an amazing job at Blackpool with all that is going on there.

The "model" you talk about is commonplace. It's an illusion to think it isn't. Even Parky's Bolton had a Chairman intervening before their last game

I continue to be staggered at the naivety of our fans who think a couple of foreigners (not been racist) are going to take the club over and not want total control

Also we've no idea whether a newbie or McCarthy would be the best answer anyway. Perhaps the younger underachievers could do with someone who has no pre-conceived ideas about management

It's more their last 10-15 years, I'm thinking of. They started as better a better team than Burnley or Town, but for some reason never kicked on - all three teams have a similar (like us) fan base.

One of my mates is a big fan and is constantly tearing his hair out. I haven't dared to ring him since Sunday

By "model" I mean micromanaging every aspect of the club including the specialist football areas that a manager is employed to run.
By model, I mean not paying sufficient in wages to attract the better talent.
By model , I mean undermining the manager by failing to modestly back him (despite public promises to the contrary) in the transfer window/s.
Of course all owners will want their say but the sensible ones know when to step back and let the professionals get on with the job.
Comparing the Bolton chairman's conversations with Parky and own chairman's behaviour is plain wrong.
Keep telling yourself that the way it's now done at City is the norm in English football, I don't agree.

I personally think it will be Rosler, but whoever it is, at least they will have a longer period to try and hopefully get a decent team together (if appointed soon enough)

We as fans, may have mixed views about the owners, but we need to support whoever takes the reigns as manager 100%

If he has little or no money to spend, then he'll have to clear the heap of overpaid deadwood we have at the moment that are out of contract, check out the freebie players released from this division, and possibly scout the lower leagues/conference to discover any new talent.

We should at least try to display the type of attacking football we saw at the start of last season with the new players he inherits and fingers crossed, hope for the best.

I'd love to see Darren Moore unveiled but can't see that happening at all. Wouldn't be surprised if Rahic took charge cos he "knows football". Think he's wanted the job right from the start.

Agree with all that. Tisdale is a genuine coach producing good teams on a shoestring budegt the polar opposite of the Cowley hoofers, the like who've I've seen all my life, hoofing themselves quickly to a glass ceiling before falling flat on their faces, they always do, nothing to see there.

Can't see past Rosler and think he may be a good thing, he'll obviously synch in with the owners but is long term immersed in English football culture, could persuade the owners to compromise......

What a list of uninspiring, characterless failures

Like being given the choice of death by electrocution, hanging or the needle

If Cotterill, Westley etc etc gets the job, I'm off after 38 years of supporting the Bantams

I have voted for anyone that knows less football than Rahic. Stefan Rupp anyone? Or is that a bit unfair?

No one that's an ex Leeds or Town manager. Makes it worse when they fail miserably with us.

Here's a couple of managers with lower League experience.Ronnie Moore and Russell Slade both linked with the Chesterfield managerial vacancy, they might also have put their CV's in for the City job.

Look how far we have fallen with these names . On another note what has Flynn done to warrant a shout? One cup run ? If he wasn't ex city and let's face it he was about as good as Dieng, he wouldn't be getting a mention. Too many soft and sentimental fans looking for another fairytale to cling on to.
