We have been here many a time. At least we are not playing games to save our club, Its hard and I agree that this sad chapter has hopefully come to an end. Days like this I think back to Fleetwood away and Rupp and Rahic takings the applauds. Tonight we will be hurting, will they? emotionally that is?

The stories I have heard are horrendous. At least today we are being run properly and its now we repair the damage that needs doing. Bowyer needs support, not pressure. Today we build to bounce back.

 

We played some good football in patches. But, we are west nudged of the ball too many times. Final ball in the last third too much thinking and less having a go. We just don’t look like we have goals in us or a goal threat going forward. We lost today with weak defending and a keeper made of jelly

 

So what would the grand master of football recommend then? Sack him? then what yet another manager? He can’t do it either so sack him as well. and do it goes on

 

Seriously, listen to yourself! Look, 6 defeats on the bounce is unacceptable at the professional level. Would you agree? Sacking is not the answer but fans have a right to be concerned.

 

No, thank goodness only been to Bristol when they played at Eastville Stadium where we had our backsides well and truly spanked 7-1.

 

What ever the fact is what happened in January could have changed the season we were in a lot better position than we are now and instead of bringing in players who could make a difference we brought in clones of what we have already got. It’s disappointing that Bowyer hasn’t done a little better than he has but he inherited a poor side but to keep the fans onside he needs to start next season running

If Edin was here. I would fear for him. I think this is where Rhodes has been very thoughtful. Get stability by tying the manager down with a 2 year contract and no matter what results lay ahead the pressure is off.

Bowyer will be here to build the team for next season even if we lose 10 in a row. Pre-season is massive. And Bowyer will know already who is mentally up to the job and who is not. It was just typical we would lose a goal right after we score near the end of the game. Its the mental side or the weak side Bowyer must eradicate if we are to bounce back.

If I was to appoint him it would of been at the end of the season.

And this is exactly the case, I have just list to GB interview and I hear a manager and a club that is desperately trying to pull things back together and give the fans the type of team we can all unite behind. We all know this season cant come to an end soon enough so we can start the rebuild - and we all know this bunch of individuals are NOT going to come together as a team no matter who is in charge so to those who just moan and criticise (you know who you are) I really think the time has come just to accept this is the case

 

How could he have done it from the stand, are you suggesting Drury is there in name only Bowyer he needs to select a team and system and see who can perform within that system, that can't be done efficiently from the stand.
I don't think anyone is trying to justify our shocking run, but I'll repeat none of our managers/coaches have been able to stop our atrocious form/performances since McCall was sacked, that would suggest to most fair minded fans they realise our present situation is not down to getting the right manager/coach in.

He could of done that anyway by watching from the stands.
