I'm not exactly looking forward to it, I'd be delighted to stay up and let Bowyer sort that out, looking forward to league two I ain't :(

I'm sure I will but I'd still rather Bowyer had the problem to manage us in league one, I really have had a belly full of the fourth division.

Sadly Keefly I won't be back. I am absolutely done. The club is a basket case. Fans seemingly fighting amongst themselves today, an utterly spineless team, no long term manager, a makeshift board........everything that we had has been ripped away. I honesty thought that this was a special club. Rahic's legacy will live long. I have been at VP for decades, been to places like Carlisle and Plymouth on Tuesday nights. No more. Some will criticise me for me walking away, but that is my choice.........something inside me has gone. I didn't even listen to the game today, largely because my hope has gone and I largely don't care anymore. When I write 'hope', I am not talking about anything outlandish like avoiding relegation this time around, I mean hope and optimism for a future. I just don't enjoy it any more. Speaking to other 'City folk' I know I am not alone.

My issue here Dave is what if we "don't do well". I know you will attend irrespective, health permitting, but for others, it ain't that black and white.

Folk have opportunity on a Saturday afternoon, a diverse range of social activities they can undertake with family and friends.

I guess what I'm trying to say is everybody has the right to exercise their right to walk away whether it's for a season or more.... I respect @BantamRhino@BantamRhino for his decision .

I never understand this loyalty talk, uber fans malarkey and your club needs you mentality. It's a product, a football game, a leisure pursuit. It ain't family, it ain't my health. If this product impacts on the latter than each individual has the choice to walk away.

I think you will find there are thousand of football fans up and down the country who will disagree with you

I'm not disagreeing mate, I agree @BantamRhino@BantamRhino has every right to do what he wants on a Saturday I don't think I've criticised anyone for not attending that is their choice, I just cant imagine my Saturday without football which of course is Bradford City in my case.

Don't dispute what you say. But on the other hand they will be many whom have walked away. In truth, we will both have a point.

It's still only a leisure pursuit in my mind. I love my club but its not unconditional love. I'll walk away if I ever need to.

Sorry Dave, it wasn't aimed specifically at yourself, even though I understand your "criticised anyone" point!!!!

On your last point, I have.

I know you didn't aim it at me, when I hear of fellow fans who have supported our club the amount of years that the likes of @BradfordRhino and yourself have and they say they have fallen out of love with our club because of whats happend recently I just hope it will only be temporary.
I think Gary Bowyer is the right man but there are no guarantees, I really don't fancy an extended stay in the kahzi league, that is of course if we do go down ;).

I think you'll find he already knew that, but then he's always maintained its down to personal preference. Just don't expect people to get excited about the prospect of league 2 football. It would be nice to get that winning habit again, but its hardly an achievement getting promoted out of league 2 is it?

People like @Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam will be making excuses not to go next season.

In fairness Fordy, got nothing to do with you what he does. His choice at the end of the day.

You don't get a badge or somethingfor attending most games do you?

    Ha ha no mate.

£150 a season ticket people will miss a lot of matches if it's not going well that's the point.

We should remember that despite the fact we are heading to league two season tickets at £150 are the best bargain in town

Your missing the point or you choose to ignore. For those not renewing it ain't about the money, it's what's happening at Valley Parade both off and on the pitch.

You clearly love the club. You clearly want the club to succeed and bounce back. But your thinking does not resonate with all.

Their is apathy. And it's understandable.

Each to their own. Renew or don’t renew, renew and don’t attend what ever you decide is up to you and no one else.

But if you are going to comment on a forum about it then expect people with the opposite view to comment. That is how forums work. If you don’t like that then Internet forums are probably not for you.

Like it or not, the longer Rupp has been in charge at BCAFC, the worse the sense of apathy has become.

Rupp isn't interested, fans know he isn't interested, while talk of administration and Rupp walking away imminently is clearly drivel, it doesn't really bring any sense of togetherness between the club and the fans.

The fans don't like the players, the squad of players having been assembled by a complete muppet, and there's a sense that we're shackled to some of them for longer than just the end of the season.

We need to move beyond the Rupp era post-haste, in my opinion, unless we have some miraculous turn around next season and can actually compete in League Two - if we get it right with Bowyer, and Bowyer brings in 'his' team, who knows? But no matter what, Rupp isn't here for the long term, so while his dedication to us is commendable, we need someone who is actually interested at the helm ASAP. There is no benefit whatsoever to Rupp continuing to hold the reins.
