Preparation for league 2

Some of you guys are taking this result pretty badly I see, you need not worry new man in by next week and we go again against Posh.

 

Gary Bowyer for me. Could turn the club around given time. Anybody but not Evans.

 

Evans till end of season for me, its not as if we are going to play our way to safety is it? He needs to find a team within the squad that can fight, scream and kick it's way to points, suck it and see.

I've seen Lincoln 3 times this season, they are a real team, well drilled, a machine, but even so it's still a fight for them to get promoted. We are miles away from being Lincoln, it's best we don't go down. Evans.

 

I would rather go down than see that toxic bully anywhere near our club

Even Preparation H couldn't cure this bunch of plums.

 

I'm not even convinced that the current squad is as good as the one that finished 18th in league 2 under PP. There are some better individual players but they just aren't up to it and have zero fight whatsoever. Assuming we get relegated, next seasons target is to survive relegation into non-league.

 

At least I still go and watch them

Bowyer or Hurst for me total rebuilding job in league 2 .We have just gone back 6 years in one season!!

Think Drury may be put in charge till end of season whether he wants it or not then appoint a manager based on which division we are in

More fool you, the season was predictable, l've enjoyed mine.

 

Yes no one mentioned they'd seen Gary Bowyer in the directors box, having said that I had to google him before I went and had a work with him, this is Gary if there anyone out there who wonders wtf were talking about

Huge negativity on here (not unexpected) but we don't know whether the owners want to try and stay up (evans) or plan for a spell in L2 (hopefully not worse) or sell up and doing care (administration and do we have a club?). Personally I want to see a statement from the owners on the intent and see a long-term appointment to slowly turn around the club. Without revisiting old managers my favourite would be Hurst. He needs new staff all round - I don't think we even have a goalie coach?

 

bump.... goes without saying..... what a job city have in getting rid ALL these players.... HATE EVERYONE OF THEM

 

He was a lucky one season wonder at Blackpool and is not the manager for the future as todays mess up by him shows,
As for players the vast majority are still under contract for next season so we really do need the right man in to rebuild, A young coach like Hurst would be ideal

 

Why was he a one season wonder?..There is no way Bowyer can be held accountable for our inevitable relegation either

oh,and by the way Hurst would have been my first choice, whether he was interested, is a different matter of course. By the way, he keeps getting referred to as being young, he is only 3 years younger than Bowyer

 

Some will ask to leave and some will have relegation clauses. Let's not spend money we don't have to yet!!!
