Scunny confirm Adam hamill signing that's 3 players signed in last 24 hours and a bid rejected for a defender at Oldham. Certainly mccall is going out guns blazing for new players.

Let me tell you all that City do need signings and Rupp needs to prove he is willing to splash his cash.

 

Fordy, for gods sake chill man - you'll give yourself a hernia! We need signings, of course we do, but we need the RIGHT signings to ensure we give ourselves the best chance of keeping our upturn going - this means both playing ability but also the right characters who will buy into DH model and commitment. Its only the 3rd of Jan and we dont play again for 9 days

 

I can just imagine you on Speakers Corner after reading this Fordy..and I agree with the gist of it all in good time.

 

Would you be happy if we had just signed those 3 players McCall has signed? Do you think they are the kind of players that would strengthen our squad?

 

Although I would have liked a early signing, the 3 made by scunny I wouldn't have had any of them at city or the one at Oldham they after too.

 

a). It’s only the third of January. I’d hardly call not having any players in by now ‘ pis&ingbabout’

b). One of those three signings is someone you consistently wanted dropping throughout his time here for being too old, slow, lazy etc. Should we now be signing any old toss just to get the numbers up?
