We were undefeated at home for a whole season.
Forgot who it was who ended that run but at around this time last year we were beaten at home by Plymouth who were bottom at the time.
Who the feck are Luton ffs. We CAN go there and win.

We could do with a break in our bad luck. Maybe the Gods have swung in our favour again!

What ever the result is it can't be any worse than the last time I went to Luton, a certain Malcolm McDonald got a hat trick in a 5-0 home win :(.

I'd take a 2-0 defeat and not see it as a very bad thing. Apart from effort I didn't see much from us against fellow strugglers with injury problems on Saturday.

Last time I went we lost 4-0. Hoping for better this time but it will be a tall order with a shortage of first choice centre halves.

I fear a shoeing. But most of our better performances have come against the better sides. Draw away to Peterborough and we were unlucky to take nothing from Portsmouth and Sunderland.

They’re in good form, but they’re not Man City. Alan Sheehan is involved for them fairly often. We shouldn’t fear anyone in this league. We’ve got better players than our league position suggests. Ball, Payne, Doyle can cause teams problems and I think we’re starting to see that if we give them a solid base and the right system, they have much more to offer than we’ve seen.

3 points out of our away games to Luton and Plymouth would be a good return.

For me, it’s about staying in touch with those outside the bottom 4 before January. With 3-4 quality additions, and a couple back from injury, we could get out of this if we don’t have a mountain to climb.

Remember going back in the day I think away fans had been banned previously City turned up smashed it haven’t a clue what the score was.
Could have been a league cup game as away fan ban had been lifted and membership cards were introduced.

I’ll be there, so we’ll definitely lose and not score either

At least there’s been a bit of improvement, but we’re talking small improvement on absolutely woeful. So it wouldn’t be a surprise to lose convincingly. Hopefully they can prove me wrong, if they could get some sort of result on tuesday i think it’ll really give fans a lift, and the team, for the fight ahead.

If I remember he dribbled the ball out of the box then took it back in and picked it up. And yes we were kept back for ages after the game

Quite sure pay on the gate will be available. I’m the same, live down South and don’t have a ticket but planning to go. The away end won’t be sold out so can’t see why it won’t be an option.

O’Connor will create a massive hole in our team. He really digs in when it’s needed.
This is he sort of game where Hopkin needs to prove his worth. Different style of play is needed with him and NKP missing.
If he gets it right of course we can beat them.

My concern with this one is, from the highlights I’ve seen of Luton, their movement is pretty rapid and effective when going forward. If NKP is suspended is it likely that Henry could move into the back 4? If so, that’s also concerning as as surely we want him in that protection role rather than so deep?

Interested to see how Hopkin sets up for this one. Given the suspensions not sure if we have the quantity to park the bus on this one. Perhaps getting up the field and trying to hold onto it is a better option?

We have to be positive in this one.Luton score a lot of goals so with possibly 2 centre backs out we could be in trouble if we just try to shut up shop.

If we press higher up then they could punish us on the break as they have pace up front. This game may be a mid field best option for us as I think this is where we are most likely to match them.Set pieces may well be our hope of nicking something from the game.
