New WOAP article 8th Nov.

Not sure the outgoing owners do due diligence on the new owners, didn't Mark comment on them sounding exactly what we were looking for, owners who had the financial clout to take us forward, unfortunately once they got the club they implemented their vision of how a football club should be run, or maybe I should say Edin did with Stefans backing.

 

I notice that Jordan Gibson's father has added a comment on Jason's WOAP article. Unlike supporters Andy Gibson, his son, David Hopkin , Rahic and Rupp are merely passing through Valley Parade.

 

That's an interesting point @Dennis, were there set amounts quoted with regards how much would be required in each area, ground, development squad and so forth.

 

They certainly got a guy on board who can delivers those sort of figures, not sure we could get that sort of investor on side, Portsmouth have always been classed as a big club, and could always generate large crowds, certainly at Fratton Park.

 

Bet you're a load of fun on a night out.

And to think some posters think promotion's perfectly doable on an instantly sustainable basis with no upfront investment

 

Funny how you have been promoting a negative feeling around the club for months through WOAP and various other platforms, then magically as soon as Rhodes gets on board we now all suddenly should support the club, to help us get out of this mess. I get that you feel having Rhodes back gives you a figure you trust to unite behind, but IMO we should have been ignoring Rahic and getting behind the team from day one! The continued negativity week after week from every man and his dog (which has been pretty much EVERY article on WOAP recently) has done nothing to help anyone. As you have started to finally acknowledge, withdrawing our support will only lead to one outcome, regardless of who is steering the ship (Rhodes or Rahic). Do we want anything left to be salvaged if/when Rahic goes?? Time to pin your colours to the mast folks, or continue to be part of the problem....

 

There's only one major problem Rich. Do I need to spell it out? It's obvious to most of us.

Rahic needs to go if we are to have any future. It's not even debatable, surely.

Not withstanding all of the above, I take Jason's point about suspending our boycott of home games given the recent change, giving Rhodes and our team the best chance of avoiding the drop.

I'm behind the fly over and think it should still go ahead and don't think we should buy when in the ground but I could support fans going in to support the team with Rhodes at the helm and show Rupp what can happen if Rahic is removed.

Contrary to popular belief/propaganda Rahic and The Team are not the same thing...you can still support one without supporting the other.

 

The team is entirely a product of Rahic. If you hadn't been in space you'd know that.

 

And the vast majority are supporting the team, as seen and heard at home games and most away games, with the odd Edin out chant.
