As a rule people have to earn trust and respect. Lessons learned and a no sense apology are never going to be enough for those of us who have doubts. It’s just basic rules of life. It’s not just trust in one area, it’s trust in anything. I don’t trust Rahic. I really hope he has learnt lessons and does put things right but until I see actions, not words, I worry for our club under his tenure.

It's not really a life or death situation. What difference would it make to find out if 10000, 14000 or 16000 season tickets were sold. It is just a bit if perhaps interesting information which has no relevance to how the team is performing on the pitch, which is far more important.

It seems the presence of fans does have an impact on players. See:- https://www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk/news/2014/august/show-your-colours-against-coventry/
The non-obvious for the fan is to make a visual impact.” fan to help shape the club’s season.” Bradford City fans to become the 12th man

I fully agree, it's certainly not one of those situations. Nor are any other issues, within the Club.

However ..... ST's apart - A poster suggested earlier 'Is it important to know our matchday pie sales ?'
Not really, but it would be interesting to know ............. Afterall, they form a part of our commercial revenue. Let's just whip up a ball park figure or two, here ...........

Our 'average' home attendance is say 16,000 ?
Total customer sales at the kiosks are 4,000 (As entries on till bill totals ;) )
    Of which ..........
    1,000 were pies
    1,000 were 'other' snacks.
1,000 were some form of drink.
1,000 were a combination of 2 or more.

The above figures are totally fictitious, but yet ...........

From a commercial perspective, why are only 25% of our fan base making a purchase ?
    As a Board member, I would be inclined to meet with our caterers and discuss ;
    a) The choices on offer to fans.
    b) The quality of those choices.
    c) Is it value for money.
All answers would be relevant, imo.

If questions such as ST's and pie sales didn't matter, then no-one would ask. :)

This brings back terrible memories of GCSE Maths... If John goes for a pie 5 minutes before half time, what is the probability he will miss the first goal of the second half?

If 'John' had been a City fan at the time - He'd have had the answer in a flash, ha ha ha. An' his elder brother, sitting his 'A' Levels would also tell you how many ST's and POTD were there !! ;)

I've always had a 'thing' about statistics, but I don't let them consume me. Afterall, much as they are informative, they can also be manipulated to support any tale you wish to tell.
Kinda like a general Blood test - The results will only answer the few questions you were asking. If you're not looking for something, the chances are that you won't find it. :)

Every time I have looked at stats and believe me I have looked at thousands over the years, it always raises more and more questions, and you are never satisfied with the answers.

So very true, Mrs O .......... and I can proudly boast I have never used 'stats as a part of any 'Power Point' presentation.
I use 'stats mainly for my own curiosity, to see if should follow something through, as either a point, or a concern. Either way, I look too at other 'trends'.

An' I'd like to make my exit here if that's OK ? I gave up that type of work a few years ago - I don't need all those nightmares again, ha ha ha.

a 'scarf parade' is one of the most cringe worthy things ever.

I cringe every single time I see someone calling for one on twitter, likes it's going to solve all our woes.

I disagree. why do people have to earn trust and respect. I think it should be there to lose not earn

As an aside why do you care how many season tickets have been sold? It's not as many as lat year, so why would the club go out of there way to advertise it?

I guess it reflects where the support is and how people responded to the events of the 2017/2018 season. The club extended part of the package until August, so it was important for City. I wonder how the club intends to reconnect with several thousand who did not renew. I understand that the final figure is significantly lower than last season.
