Sack Collins now before it's too late. Sack him!

This is what I don't understand , ER as employed a rookie someone's that's totally a unknown quantity on a 3 year contract, surely he should have nothing less than a trial period !

 

You don't have to look too far they are out there, although one or two must be on holiday as they have posted very little over the last week of so " you know who you are".
One on leave of absence and the other was logged on yesterday viewing the forum but must have thought better of trying to convince us he knows football.

 

Similar to Grayson , I think it might have come to a similar conclusion, you want to offer me an extension Edin, nah, thanks but no thanks.

 

Here's the problem guys Collins goes who comes in no one was prepared to take it in the summer so what as changed now absolutely nothing in fact we are in worse postion even Stevie wonder can see there is a problem.

 

We have one in place, although Collins doesn't realise it yet, if nothing else his agent needs congratulating htf did he get him a 3 year contract for 6 weeks work.
I see the company that is building the new stadium at White Hart Lane are offering electricians £14,000 for 8 weeks work, but Collins deal makes that deal look poor by comparision.

 

Just a thought when he sacks him it would save paying his contract up !

 

I’ve been listening today to the Radio 5 606s from the weekend and there were West Ham fans saying that Pelligrini has brought in loads of players and is still working out the best formation and tactics etc. Sound familiar?

Good job we didn’t go for him then, as there would be the same moans. (Except he’s a very experienced manager, so there couldn’t be any moans..... it’s only young managers that get picked on).

 

Posted similar mate, I believe if he does sack Collins and takes as long to sort the next coach/manager out as he did during the closed season we are up s**t creak.
Managers/coaches will have the Bradford City job very low down on their wish list, filed under "last chance saloon" or the "job centre".

 

Wrong; west ham have a director of football who would have been bringing in the players.

Right; pellegrini is an experienced manager.

Wrong; our gaffa is a head coach, not to be confused with a young manager.

 

That's a scary thought but sadly very true...what a mess.

 

He could be on the standby list when Collins gets the bullet

 

Someone made a similar comment with regards Lampard and the Derby fans and I said do we care about Derby or West Hams problems ?.
It's only young "inexperianced" managers who get picked on, all things being equal who would you rather have coahing Bradford City Collins or Pelligrini ?.

 

Isn't this the same guy who was sat with Edin during the preseason friendly with Sunderland last season, Collins is a much cheaper option, looks like we missed a bullet not employing the umberella man.

 

Your right. I've said in the past that we've done well with rookies, and we have, but looking at it in more depth McFarland had a great righthand man in Mick Jones, who'd been about. Cherry had Yorath who unproven went on to become a great coach (poor manager), Jagger had a three month trial and then had back up in Martin Hunter who knew his onions, Dolan had Stan the Man, and Kammy had good time served coaches behind him.

Collins has an ex Avenue manager (does he even exist or he is just a hologram) and Abbo, whose not exactly set the world alight and in may eyes is Edin's right hand man.

I'm not saying sack him now, it's far too early and far too unfair in terms of his honeymoon period, but the next two matches are absolutely pivotal. PLay how we did in the last three and he's mincemeat. Or at least should be.

 

I nearly fell off my chair reading that. I doubt if anyone of them is on more than £40,000 a year. £250,000 cash up front max.

 

It to be said, that Rahic must have some serious shit on Rupp to get a successful business man with £100 million plus to his name to agree to some of the stuff he's signed off. Or is he really the hologram ?

 

So why give him a 3 year contract, not just Collins but his coaching team.
You may be correct there maybe clauses within their contracts, so why not a rolling 12 month contract as many clubs do, maybe Edin thought he'd better get these hidden gems signed up long term before he unleased them in division three.
