    Having watched City at Crewe then although we were poor they were pretty woeful too. Yet they are fourth!:eek:

    Derby and Charlton have been made aware of City's asking price for Young after enquiring.

    I would expect some bartering between the clubs and he will be off in the next couple of weeks

    Not sure Derby can spend much Idle. BBC source.


    Financial issues - which led to administration - saw the embargo first applied, with Derby's transfer dealings then restricted by the EFL after David Clowes took ownership in July 2022.

    The League One club remains under financial monitoring restrictions.

    They are due to stay in place until August 2024.

    Saw this yesterday online. This guy works for the price of football website and has a few tweets breaking down the Derby books and debts. Doesn't sound good at the minute after the Mel Morris shows final years.

    Johnny Yen may indeed be right about Young's injury, it wouldn't be the first time it has happened during the transfer window. Then again his injury situation which allegedly started at Swindon may be genuine and we are maybe seeing something that isn't there. Time will tell.

    There is no “alledgedly” it started at Swindon. I saw the tackle at Wimbledon the first week in Dec and Flynn admitted he was playing unfit , whilst injured , a week later . It’s all on video. He continued to play every single game thereafter for Swindon until he returned to VP. I know what I make of it, but that’s for others to decide .

    That’s a great point, all these “ super duper” well run clubs, are nowhere near that classification. Let’s be honest most don’t have a pot to …….?

    Ah OK. I prophesied what might happen with Young and his bestest room mate now at MkD many weeks ago , I was wrong about Kemp, but not with Young , but hey nobody will ever know and it’s likely in a couple of weeks he will be found in “ Where are they now” . I hope I’m wrong but hey.
