sounds like they took on a separate 2.5 debt which I guess needs to be repaid by the club. I would cut Rupp some slack if he spoke honestly to the fans and gave us something to hang onto, the guys a prick. (pointy thing mods)

 

Vote with your feet, i.e. don’t renew. It’s the only way to awaken those who run the club and force change. Does it bring risk? Yes, but the alternative is to keep propping up a failing, regression organisation.

Critisises his right back saying 6 months ago he was a kick from the Premier League and now he wouldn't get a kick in the Premier League, called their 1st half boring and worse than Antiques Roadshow.

I wouldn't be surprised if by the time we play them in March if Deeney has been sacked and they are on their 3rd permanent manager of the season all set for a 1-0 away win.

I'd rather the club die than Rhodes getting involved again, another absolute failure who was clueless until Lawn held his hand. This club needs a full clean out from owner and ceo to the club hanger ons and its mouthpieces.

 

That's madness wanting us to go under. If Rhodes did come back, just stop going, but allow the other 16000 fans the option to make their own minds up

 

Rupp is the owner and 'silent' financer of the club but with absolutely no interest whatsoever.

But if he could do just one essential thing in the running of the club it would be to replace Sparks.
I have nothing against Ryan and I am sure he's given it his all but he has to go. 3 or so years in and there is no leadership, no ambition, certainly no vision has been painted and perhaps worst of all a total lack of communication with the people who make the club...its fanbase.
If I could say one thing to Stefan, you have to give us some hope again - Alexander already sounds as flat as a pancake and his initial positivity is fast evaporating, the recruitment has been mediocre at best (everything we were told it wouldn't be) and the club feels like its drifting into oblivion.

We know Rupp will continue to oversee from afar until something tangible occurs re the ownership but it is in his hands to change the running of the club and this so needs to happen. We are stuck in a miserable groundhog day scenario with no apparent light at the end of the tunnel.

Ps I know Rupp won't see this but at least its off my chest now!

 

Not arguing but think the purchase price was actually £2m plus debt which is rumoured to have been another £2m +. You may recall a previous post from me on this subject in that under new 'Fit and Proper' rules you also need to provide concrete proof af ability to run the Club after purchase which I underst is a further £1.5m per year for the first three years ownership, in other words a further £4.5m. So in the case of Carlisle you are looking around a £8.5m commitment.
In my previous post I said assuming SR wants £9m which some on here have punted, I don't know, then debt free the all up for BCFC would be £13.5m. Just saying.

 

Completely depressing on a Sunday morning, someone from inside the club essentially telling us we have absolutely zero chance of getting a new owner… brilliant.

 

That’s why I urge fans do what we can to make this uncomfortable for Rupp.. protest, fly over, not giving the club a penny more. Our supporters group should be arranging this id be more than happy to participate and contribute to any of those.

Unfortunately get the feeling some fans have either given up or maybe scared of change.

Completely agree. Or even bring someone in to help him and run the football operation, perhaps as a mentor to Sparks. However that's positioned optically.
