Rupp & Sparks Out?

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get the accompanying video with the season ticket launch this year. It will just be a very lacklustre announcement along the lines of 'Bradford City 2024/25 season tickets are now on sale. Renew yours so you can continue to endure the mid table mediocrity you have all come to know and expect. For those wishing to inflict even more pain on themselves, hold back on renewing until the beginning of August when the price of securing your misery for another season will increase'.

Agree Dave I think 10k max and that's dependent on a good run in to the end of the season
Why not everyone boycott and not buy season tickets obviously a good 4-5k will renew regardless it's the only way to get Rupps attention Nothing to stop fans buying tickets under a new owner something that would no doubt appeal to a new owner instant cash flow boost whilst devaluing Rupps investment prior to a sale
Think back to the admins when we fundraised the club to survive collecting tins carrying blankets round at half time etc etc we survived then and would do now
That would never happen under Rupps ownership the big difference is he has money the then chairman didn't
With no end in sight to this frustrating misery am all for boycotting season tickets something has to be done fly passes, tennis balls, walkouts, will have no effect and to be fair not many are enjoying the match itself so why not give it a try
The pre and post match pint which is the only thing that we are enjoying about our match day ritual can still continue

 

For Rupp, that is just extra money out of Rupps pocket and undermines Sparks, Rupp clearly just wants to run this club on a shoestring till he gets a mug punter to buy us at an over inflated price.

I doubt anyone has sat down with Alexander and said what do you need to get out of this league. That ship sailed a long time ago.

 

Rupp never spoke to the most important man at the club for nearly a month certainly Alexander said he'd not spoken to the owner in an interview 2 weeks after he joined the club, that is very poor IMO surely he could take a few minutes out of his hectic schedule to speak with his latest employee, maybe I'm wrong but that for me shows his lack of interest in our club.

 

Yeah his passiveness is what frustrates me. Just happy to carry on in the background like everything’s fine and dandy, without a care in the world.

I think if we got to Wembley in the tinpot cup and finished just short of playoffs, he’d get away with one more season, but if we’re knocked out of the last cup and floating around in midtable I think that’ll be the final straw for many.

 

Get to Wembley and we can all look forward to another of his 'for the doubters' posts on Instagram.

 

Maybe the supporters board will raise the fans annoyance at their next meeting?

They can slot it in just after they ask for an update on the installation of pool tables and arcade games on the concourse.

What does Rupp actually do ? apart from driving us into oblivion with his new mate Sparks.. Either way.. apart from own us and ER Sports Group GmbH (Edin Rahic Sports Group GmBh) Where did he make his money (if any) ?

I heard somewhere he spends time with F1 racing ? Obviously not a patch on Toto Wolff or Christian Horner

He keeps a low profile! He sold his share of a business making helicopter seats in Germany I believe, but other than that I don’t really know. For him to dabble in football, when he’s primarily interested in motor sports, suggests he’s very wealthy! Not sure what other areas he has invested his money in but the intention here was Rahic would run the show and he’d always take a back seat.

Problem is, Rahic was never replaced when he left and the club isn’t getting driven on with a purpose or direction.

 

I believe someone put a link on here awhile ago he deals in anything that is expensive, yachts, super cars, mansions, watches.
