Begrudgingly plays Pointon. It's as though he is afraid to give him 90 minutes. It's almost like Hughes and Banks at Carlisle.

 

Just not enough fire power in the squad, it’s alright having Chapman and Pointon alongside Cook but neither have a goal in them, but without Walker or Pattinson there’s not much alternative as Oliver and Smith aren’t good enough either.

Another near two hours totally wasted, so unenjoyable before we even get into the fact that we threw 2 points away against an awful team. Wasted far too much money on this crap this season, cheap season tickets or not.

 

If the dosy Ash Taylor wasn't asleep at the helm, we would have had 3 points tonight.

But the players are cheap wages. So enjoy it. And we don’t owe any money to the leccy man totally self sufficient.

Well done Gent, Sparkes and that incaring Twit in Germany you have badically kilked our season off and we aint even out of January.

 

Amongst the disappointments there were some good things. Halliday played well yet again. It is unrealistic to believe he can be a full back and a threatening winger - but he comes close. Pointon was consistently tidy and and looked our best player. Combining with Chapman looked the likeliest way we were going to score.

Then this two are brought off! For Odour an Oliver! I am surprised at the lack of outcry about this. I have had half an hour to make sense of this substitution. No nearer doing so.

 

The car share lads went to him to celebrate.

ST sales will be interesting. I gave mine up a couple of years ago, and there'll always be a core who renew no matter what. But there are several thousand floating fans who are surely considering whether its worth it? I don't mean the cost so much, although many are struggling, I mean the investment of time to watch an outfit that feels somewhere between incompetent, disinterested or even downright taking the piss? I came to a conclusion that I wouldn't give my time and money to the club when it clearly didn't want to show ambition and run itself professionally, with quality and leadership from the top down, not at the expense of spending time with my family. I'm sure that more and more will be questioning themselves, because there's very little to hang your hat on in terms of believing in the future of the club under this regime.

 

I could have understood those changes if it had been 1 - 0 to City, fresh legs and all that, but bringing Oliver on smacks of desperation, surely it was a quick lad like Smith required along side Cook, the partnership that until recently looked a decent duo up top.

 

Chapman showed no emotion whatsoever, like we'd just conceded a goal kick.
