Aside from some flashes of Stockport quality, it’s been an entertaining game although we have haven’t had any goal threat whatsoever. Smallwood has sneaked back on corners with Walker out and the quality has dipped tremendously

 

Agree. They haven't produced much but it's clear the quality is there if it clicks for them. Our attacks have been more like using a sledgehammer to put a nail in the wall. A lot of effort and energy but not much finesse or quality. Our crosses have notably dreadful today from all of Gilliead, Smallwood, Halliday.

 

Really enjoyed that first half, we competed for everything, what more can we want. Complete contrast to the garbage served up earlier in the season

 

Richards, although raw, offers so much more than Ridehalgh and he’s a miss for me. I think Tomkinson and Kelly could do more to support attacks too but understand the caution against the league leaders

The Stockport balls into their front men are of much better accuracy and quality meaning they retain the ball much easier up the pitch. Ours have been pretty aimless so far.
