Just under 300 tickets left for tomorrow.
Let's see if we can have a repeat of last season's match, which to be honest, was a comfortable win.

Sounds like Donny will be making a lot of changes for this one. They also have started using a 352 under McCann.

Think we should do this one fairly easily? (famous last words). Although our record in 7:45 kick offs in the league has been pretty shoddy lately, just 1 win in the last 8 which was our most recent night game at FGR.

    quite the opposite.

Similar weather tomorrow night, as to now. Should be having Kelly, Platt, Tomkinson practising them 70 yard lobs over the keeper

Trouble is…How many games have we seen where the wind turns the match into a lottery?

I haven’t done an away day since Barnsley stuffed us under Hopkin and Paudie made his loan debut, but decided to get a ticket for Donny. Good times are coming and we go into matches with expectation again. Into em GA!

From my experience of working at the same firm as Andy, on Christmas eve, he will be hammered by 1pm and unable to find his way to the bus. Mind you that was back in the early 80's when Christmas eve's involved an early close, two hours in the pub and a party in the typing pool with strange goings on in the stationary cupboard and the 13th Floor !

Until you said 13th floor, that could have been most places in Bradford!

I remember the Christmas Parties well. Although I was living in Cardiff at the time. I was working nights at the Maternity Unit, we always planned for a party, but very rarely was able to enjoy. Always busy on Christmas Eve. Funnily enough my husband has dug out the winter jumper I knit for him, the only one should I say. It took me a year, knitting whenever I had a minute or two. So it is approximately 40 years old and still going strong.

Had the chance to go to this one, but turned it down.

Still struggling to rekindle the interest, unfortunately.

    Likewise.

3 wins isn't enough to get all excited again, we pretty much had that run under MacDonald.

And we're still in 14th place.

It's been better recently, but I'm hardly feeling giddy.

    I dunno.

The enthusiasm will come back lads.

I’ve not had much interest for ages but the Gills match was the acid test for me and we came through it with flying colours. Just felt an urge to go to this one and banish the memories of a gridlocked Oakwell after the game on my last away trip.

3k City fans in a packed away end, last Fri before Christmas. Lovely!

Whats the craic with seats at away games these days? Do our fans just sit anywhere irrespective of whether its unreserved or not?

Been to donny many times but always parked on the roads nearby. I am tempted to park in the lakeside village retail park opposite, as it says on their website that it is free parking and shops shit at 6pm, but car park closes one hour after. I’ve never taken any notice of there are barriers on the retail park, can anyone confirm?? On a Saturday aft you will get away with it, but not sure of an evening?

The Doncaster supporters liaison officer was on twitter earlier suggesting not to park in the retail centre as there has been ticketing issues, he advised the stadium car parks £5 in advance or £6 on night, subject to availability.

Didn't go in car last year, but the Monday night game under Grayson a few years back we parked on the streets around the industrial area aside the retail park.

We were there early and ate in the park, the area around there did appear to fill up quite quickly despite it being a poorly attended game.

We didn't have a problem there then but I heard it was a bit tasty round there though after the game last year, so who knows.
