100% agree but when he partnered up with Edin, he got his fingers burnt, as a result would he be likely to repeat the exercise? Where would Edins replacement with football expertise come from? The Baldwins, Harvey’s ( Arrgh) and Pallios are extremely thin on the ground. There is no escaping the fact, sadly.

Spot on. Which game is it?
    Crawley on 6 January?
As you say, a boycott could lead to a 7000 crowd. Crawley won't bring many!

Perhaps they did, a better finishing from Cook, we'd have beaten them

I've never really seen anyone seriously advocate "just clap harder" on this board before, but if that's what you wanna go for, that's your choice I suppose.

Why not all the suggestions as a form of escalation? Black out game 1, tennis balls 2, walkout 3, late walk in game 4?

That's the sort of campaign I imagine generating media interest.

Let's face it, if the media miss one or two of the events, they can still tune in for the escalation by game 3 or game 4.

And as we know from past experience, the media (or prospect of media embarrassment) is what hurts Stefan the most.

I'm as frustrated as the next City fan but do we know Rupp is not prepared to fund a DOF, I'd think if Ryan spoke with Rupp and said the football side of things needs a man at the top he may tell him to bring in a DOF, but it would have to be within the budget.
Would that be a deal breaker, would employing the likes Paul Jewell be a massive drain on our finances, not sure it would, but unfortunately I'm less sure Ryan would go cap in hand to Rupp with regards his limited football knowledge and that is not a criticism of Ryan but as we know although I'm sure the appointments Ryans made during his time as CEO have been with his best intentions they have not worked out.

Obviously not reasonable enough to get Rupps interested, we know what he paid to get us when we were a very good League One side so what is classed as reasonable for a struggling League Two club, this is not a pop at yourself just interested in what a reasonable offer is.

My own personal view is that the best way to make a statement is to boycott games. Its highly visible and given the majority of our gate receipts come in the form of STs, it won't massively impact the club in the short term, but will signal what will happen next summer come renewal time.

Or failing that, highly visible protests inside the ground that are specifically aimed at Rupp and Sparks, not the manager or players.

That's easy to say, Bronco, but if his chosen CEO can't achieve success within the sustainable budget (that should be plenty), what options does that leave Rupp?

Ive come across silly forum posters like you too many times, are you chucklebantam reincarnete.
Change the nuance of your posts daily dependant upon how you feel.
If you feel that demonstrations and wearing black clothing is the thing to do whilst we're edging towards oblivion then more fool you.
There's a time to let Rupp know you're unhappy with his ( lack of) stewardship, and it isn't now.
You have a very simplistic black and white view of football, unfortunately in the real world it doesn't work like that.

We know Rupp is not a football man but common sense would suggest Rupp should be asking Ryan why as his appointed CEO his appointment of managers has hardly been a raging success and maybe asking Ryan if he needs someone at the club with a more in depth knowledge of the game and players.
I know in my last managerial position I may have got away with one poor shop floor appointment I can guarantee I would be questioned if I it happened again with regards the second guy to be not up to scratch.

Okay, so when is the right time to "let Rupp know"?

    What's your strategy?

The first people to pretend others "change the nuance of posts daily" tend to be fence sitters with little to say, but here's your shot: what do we do?

I'd be perfectly happy with Rupp replacing Sparks with an experienced figure.

    I think most fans would.

The question is, will Rupp do that himself?

I don’t think he will. Sparks needs to find the humility to bring someone in himself, as a DoF type. Not only is it patently clear that’s what we need, he’d shift the attention away from himself so it’d be very much in his own interests too.

I'm not suggesting Rupp replaces Ryan I'm hoping after Ryan's recent managerial appointments Rupp would question his recent appointments, no I don't believe Rupp will do it himself, from what we've seen he wouldn't have a clue where to start, nor do I believe Ryan will ask for help, it may be classed as showing weakness ?.

    Yep, totally agree.

I think most people on here do, to be fair.

There are 2 or 3 that try to constantly undermine for some reason.
