How dare fans from other clubs have the nerve to visit this site and offer their opinions on the way our club played today?

Seriously, it says more about the posters who object to these observations and who object more generally to those who have different views to their own. For the record, posters from other clubs will always be welcome on BT whilst ever they stick to our site's rules.

Yes I do believe we have enough quality on our day to give any L2 team a game, now don't get me wrong and get this statement mixed up with me believing our squad is good enough or anything like that, because is what I see in L2 is that the quality of a lot of the players in a lot of instances is that the quality a lot of the time is not that much different, but the main thing is consistency and in the main the players in L2 can't put out high end performances every week unlike the Championship/L1 players. Our team currently has a very good number of what I call good level L2 squad fillers, these guys are exactly what you need to fill in the gaps around the 2 but preferably 3 high end L2 game changing ability players successful teams need, players who against odds or make something out of nothing when the teams not playing well produce a moment of brilliance (Wells,Blake.Reid,Hendry,Beagrie,Waddle,McArdle,Windass) I'm no managerial expert but if I was assembling a squad preseason I'd concentrate on the match winners first and foremost spending whatever is required from the budget, and then after that I'd just fill the gaps with solid/honest pros, we always seem to do it the other way and sign a ton of squad filling dross an then have fk4ll left for any quality.

My man of the match for City was Halliday,Walker in the first half was part of the problem what was wrong with the team and yes he did improve in the second half.

Absolutely nothing 'was proved in the second half' regarding City's supposed improvement. The opposition were already 4 goals up, either consciously or unconsciously they weren't putting in the effort we'd seen in the first half. The 3 points were pretty much already guaranteed and they absolutely knew it.

The mess that is the hierarchy of Bradford City shouldn't allow Alexander a free pass today. He got it well wrong, from formation to team selection and I'm sorry but I cannot muster any praise for an 'improved' second half performance when we're four down at the break.

Dont think he is after a free pass, he admitted he got the first half wrong (unlike the instigator of many of our current problems ever did - arrogant Hughes)! He's 2 games in, please apportion blame where it is truly warranted!

Problem is, once someone has it in for a player, it’s nigh on impossible to get them to think otherwise. I’ve lost count this season how many times you’ve commented how shite Taylor is, even when he’s not had a bad game. Today the lot of them had a bad game. Yeah Taylor got hooked at half time, but so did Pointon. Was he bad as well??

To recap some defeats this season, just in case you missed them:

Morecambe (A) lost 3-0, no Taylor (Platt, Stubbs, Kelly)

Walsall (H) lost 3-1, no Taylor (Platt, Stubbs)

Tranmere (A) lost 2-1, no Taylor (Platt, Stubbs)

MK Dons (A) lost 4-1, Taylor played (with Stubbs) not directly at fault for any goal (although I’m sure you’ll say he was 10 yards off the pace…)

Sutton (A) lost 2-1, no Taylor until half time (Platt, Stubbs)

So I think your theory that Stubbs is better alongside someone other than Taylor, is somewhat wide of the mark

Nothing is a gimmie as far as we are concerned. The whole squad had to get super fit and work their socks for the full 90 and no slacking.

Our first priority is to climb away from the relegation zone. Even if we manage to stay in this league massive questions need to be asked about our neglected club. Enough is enough
oh I can. It could well have been 10-0. Now that would have taken some getting over. We had to win the second half and we did. In terms of results you are right we still lost abc we also could have won it on the second half as well.

Nobody said it wasn’t allowed. Of course it’s allowed, it’s a public message board!
I can kind of understand opposing fans signing up to the oppositions message board just before or just after a game between those teams but having the motivation and desire to comment on a game your club isn’t involved in is a bit odd but each to their own.

To be fair he admitted in the post match interview he got the first half wrong. Hopefully we don't see that stand off type defending again.

Tell me one good game Taylor has had.

I'll even take a good 10 minutes if it makes it easier.

And comparing him to Pointon, who's making his first handful of senior appearances is something I can't even debate. It's absolute nonsense.

    Good game? Really?

Your standards are too low then given that Grimsby reserves is a highlight and against Wrexham we still conceded when both centre halves were nowhere near.

If you missed the first 20 minutes you missed what shaped the tone of the game, chasing the game.

Cook is not pretty to watch at the best of times but based on his record clearly he knows how to finish, the team aren't playing well full stop and in my opinion the problems start at the back and not just the centre backs. Need to get back to grinding a few results out and a good start would be stopping the opposition team scoring, we do that and we only need 1 goal!

What a shower, were a laughing stock and could currently only dream of matching shoestring tin pot clubs like Morecambe , Barrow, Carlisle sitting a league above which is a joke in itself , Notts County to name but a few. We are rubbish.

I'm so disappointed that we're not seeing the best of Mcdonald he was a hell of a player. I was very pleased with his signing but he hasn't brought what i thought he would. Osadebe and Taylor are simply not good enough at this level nothing against either personally just not good enough

Me too, but has he really had enough game time to be judged? Not too sure on that, with been out early season with injury and then his managing stint and out now injured. He will definitely need someone to do the leg work alongside him but his ball retention and eye for a pass should still be there as was evident in the Newport away game, that's the type of performance I was expecting.
