Pete Wild always celebrates a win like that, home or away, regardless of the opposition. Don't take it so personally.

If you start those two where do you put Bobby Pointon?

I think he realises a lot more than he could say in after match radio interview! He already knows we have too many players but needs to keep them all on board until he can start addressing things in January

2708 I agree and I’ve seen to many performances now where we struggle to break teams down or even to score two goals in a game to know we need better, much better.

I just don’t get Chapman. He had about three games before he was injured. Prior to that, in my opinion, he was slow, one dimensional, couldn’t beat his fullback l, and a walking injury list. We haven’t missed him.

Disagree here. He was poor when played out of position as a 10 but looked decent in the few games he's played on the wing

Couldnt disagree more!! Before his injury he was flying having finally moved to his favoured position. Chapmans injury was a key factor (albeit not the only one) in how last season panned out

I think it's time the American kid and Richards are given a go. I'd also like to see a midfield with Smallwood, Walker, Pointon and Chapman. Cook needs dropping again but not sure who for at this stage. Our attacking options are very poor

Or put Smith and Walker up front and bring Pattison into the midfield when fit

I would have agreed most of last season but the last few games he played in he looked like the quality winger we were hoping we have signed and he showed his quality again when he came on the FA cup match. The lad has the skill of a old fashioned winger,it’s the consistency we need from him:

Well GA must have quickly realised that it will take him at least 2 transfer windows to sort this mess out.

I hope he recommends the entire scouting staff we employ are shown the door first of all though.

The bloated squad is stuffed full of dross and they look a bottom 4 side to me. Probably just enough to keep us up as it stands.

Halliday apart, the defence needs a complete overhaul. The lad Tomkinson must be pretty dire if he cannot get into this side.

Walker and Pointon did well today, glimpses from Gilliead and Smith, the rest were complete garbage.

Don't get me started on Osadebe.

We will be lucky to see Cook seeing this season out never mind another 2, he looks so unfit and out of sorts. Hopefully Oliver will be back sooner or later.

Oh, and Rupp and Sparks out please

Agree with everything VW, but I would now like to see the lad Tomkinson given his chance, why the hell has he come to a League 2 side to sit in the stand week after week?
He could have stayed at Norwich and done that.

Plenty of decent free agents out there Simon, at least bring one in and let him train with the squad to get him up to match fitness and to have a closer look at him - preferably a decent striker for the No.9 spot.
Hell, bloody Wrexham brought in Fletcher when Mullin was out - and they still had Palmer available, they didn't mess about, they took action unlike our lot.

Surely bringing Richards into LB will bring some much need pace into the side. Haven't seem Tomkinson but if he can shift a bit surely he's worth a go. We're so short of any pace throughout the whole squad to be honest, We have some real Donkey's. I'd certainly stick with Stubbs he showed last year next to a pacey CB in Critchlow of his worth. I'll freely admit he ain't playing well currently, but then who is . I'll bet GA didn't realise the size of the task he had in front of him when he arrived , but after a week with the players and after today he certainly will. Him and Lucketti will be realising how actually shiite we are now

Unfortunately when Cooks goals dry up his confidence goes and he offers absolutely zero to the team. Oliver got pelters on here last season but he may well work as part of a front 2. If not, I've no idea where the goals will come from unless we find someone in January.

I think the ownership of Wrexham are willing to pay the price of a promotion team with a good manager who sounds out winning players like he did with our team. The signings for us at the beginning of the season had me worried on quality of most we brought in.

I felt a little sorry for Alexander today. There were some good individual performances from a small number in the squad. Overall however, the squad lacked cohesion, it lacked quality and it looked like what it is which is a bottom half squad in the bottom division. That hasn't suddenly happened; it's been patently obvious from the start of the season if not before. Alexander has inherited a squad from Hughes which needs a major overhaul. If I were him, I'd be questioning who had the oversight of the recruitment which led to this situation and how is it going to be remedied? The January window will enable some changes to be made but it's not the best time for making fundamental changes when quality will be at a premium. He has a major job in front of him.

It's going to be a long season for everybody.

I think Gent will have Fcuk all input going forward with new signings. GA know's this league inside out he'll know what he want's. Genk will only be phoning around to get shut of folk.

    Only at the back :p
I agree, but we must have the slowest team/squad in our history. There's some right donkeys.
