What are Stefan's intentions for the Club?

Until he goes, this club will not succeed. It's like a record on my part but been saying it since 2018

 

Apparently there is a podcast out where unless it’s been taken out of context Sparks has had a bit of a go at Rupp. Saw a bit on Facebook

Apparently Sparks has said that Rupp has made 0 investment and that he has been doing his best to manage what we've got in order to protect the club with no help from Rupp.

 

Seen the clip everyone is discussing I actually listened to the whole interview when released. Be under no illusions Sparks sees that statement as a badge of honour not a form of dig at Rupp.


Clubs is petrified of investment or living slightly above its means to deliver an outcome. I think he think by saying that statement there are a lot of fans who don’t want Rupp to invest and believe that self sustainability will bring success (fear of money mismanagement previously). I think they’re fundamentally wrong but that’s not the point. Trust me that quote is designed to impress and not be derogatory to Rupp.

 

So he should do he has done a great job managing the finances giving the manager a good budget every year

 

What do you mean good budget? Being self sustainable he's given him what's left after the bills have been paid. Good business sense but hardly pushing the boat out.

 

Point in principle to my post he’s appealing to fans like you Park who in your eyes the club can do no wrong.

It’s nothing personal, but for me just clapping along and not questioning or holding to account the club is dangerous. Thank god me and others tried to drum up interest and coverage across platforms as to what Rahic was doing. If we didn’t I suspect we would be where Scunny are now.

 

Not sure about this season yet till we see the figures but in recent seasons it’s been a top six budget

 

I’m not clapping I hated the style of football last year and so far this Sparks is not responsible for that

 

Sparks is a good commercial manager but has zero football acumen and the last 3 season have proved that.
We have blinds by post sponsoring every corner flag but can’t get a decent side together on the pitch.

he’s not a footballing man and it shows. Demote to commercial manager and get a proper CEO in and a director of football if Rupp stays

 

When Sparks moves from Bradford city it will be promotion to bigger football or sporting club

Maybe a commercial role .. football strategy and delivery which assume (hope) is his main objective not a hope in hell.

 

Maybe as a commercial manager! I'd have him as the commercial manager at City in a heartbeat. We need a new owner and new CEO, both need to have a serious plan for the club and a blueprint of how we want to play football.

 

He's a CEO who turns a profit apparently. He will easily get a job at a bigger club
