Summer 2023 Transfer Rumours

We have not and to a large extent that is the reason we are still in this league. The only reason we were in the playoffs last season was because of Cook, who had a brilliant season.
We can’t go backwards, we have to keep going forwards. I am keeping my fingers crossed for finding a goood striker.

 

I follow Wright via social media and he was out in Dubai very quickly after the season ended, already training with a personal coach. I’m certain his first intention will be proving himself during their pre-season and if that fails looking for a L.1 loan. Cannot see him returning to us although I’d happily see that happen (even though I prefer not seeing players return once left).

 

So take a stab and keep looking for that elusive young gem - rather than a proven, ready made striker. Just because he pulled on our shirt a few years ago.....successfully too.

We generally play with only one striker what we need is to spread the goals around we have made a good start with Pattison a right winger with goals in them would be a good acquisition the Sam Smith rumour looked promising if not as you say a good young loan

 

I thought Pattison was a central midfielder? If he's a winger then we probably still need to strengthen centrally don't we?

 

100% agree. Lazy thinking by city fans by thinking oh let’s get that ex City player back. Not happening in most cases.

 

Tried telling Park the other day that Pattison is a CM. He wont listen.

 

I think he’s saying he wants a right winger with goals in them, a comma now and again would help with any misunderstanding I had to reread it myself.

 

You are mixing me up with someone else I know He is a central midfielder in the above post I missed the full stop. A right winger with goals in them is what we need.

 

Perhaps Park is confusing Pattison with Patterson,who played right wing for Halifax some time ago.
