Think we need at least 3 wingers / wide forwards, no pace and power up there at all - after that, whilst I do think we could do with couple more players I think we could go with that

 

There are rumours that we are bringing in another defender. Id imagine its a LB. If Gillead doesn't sign, im assuming that We'l bring in a young kid on loan from the prem. We have Chapman an Odour who can play on the left. Nobody to play on the right. So perhaps one permenant signing and another one on loan. And of course, a 4th option for up front, seeing as neither Derbyshire or Oliver can be relied upon

 

It's to be hoped that MH brings in a striker to play alongside Cook. Surely the lad can't be expected to play up top alone again, with three hairy ar**d defenders dragging him all over the place?
Waken up MH, get another in!!!

Not playing much at West Brom - 3 starts and 15 subs in 22/23. 1 year left on his deal which I imagine is pretty decent and out of our 'reach'. Its a big drop to L2 but maybe a loan move because he is clearly out of favour at WBA and may just want game time.

Looks like he's played pretty much only as a wing back over the last few seasons, so could be. I genuinely think we are getting these flexible players with the aim to play 352/532 for the season. May well want another wing back with some versatility for the first team, then with the loan spots bringing in squad cover depth in case we end up moving back to 4231, maybe a youth forward, 1 or two youth winger/10s to probably to bench at best.

 

Can't see it Serg, he'd get another Champ club if he was allowed out I'd imagine. It would certainly be a statement signing if a league two club could tempt him anyway.

 

I liked Adam Reach, him and Banks are/ were peas in a pod. He was raw when he came to us, but went back to Boro a better player and ended up as a first team regular. I can’t see that with Banks but their style and attitude were amazingly the same.

 

No idea if there's any legs to it, but I saw a tweet yesterday saying we're talking to Sam Smith from Cambridge.

He plays as a RW/ST. Scored 14 last season in a struggling Cambridge side and 21 the year before from league 1.

It true would be good signing. He could slot into the right in a 4231 or up alongside Cook if we play 2 up top.
