Exactly, we failed to get over the line over and over again, yes, we signed a lot of these players and we have to accept the failure, but I'm more confident that we can do that than I've been in years.

There will be a month of despair on social media, then we'll start assembling next season's squad and it will be interesting again.

Nothing against anyone who is gutted, as we all are, but like you I couldn't see us winning the play offs or getting automatic based on our performances all year.

Agree couldn't care less if out of contract players leave. Cook and loan players maybe harder to replace.

Do Notts have mega rich owners? Can’t say I know much about them but they’ve spent the last 5 years or so in non league. I respect it’ll be impossible to get near Wrexhams spending power, but if we can’t match the rest then questions must be asked of the ownership.

Wrexham will be very strong but it took them two seasons of Hollywood money to get out of The National League. I'll be surprised if Notts Co finish in the top three next season.

With the right manager in charge next season Bradford City can challenge for automatic promotion. Mark Hughes is NOT the right manager.
