I sat in the bottom of the Kop for Sunday nights game, and there was some commotion cos a guy and woman came in about 10 mins late (to be fair the turnstile queues were terrible so likely not their fault) and there were people in their allocated seats. They got a clueless steward involved who started asking to see other people's QR code and it was like a domino effect, in the end everyone started getting pissed off with the portly steward blocking their view and general non-commonsense handling of it, and nobody moved. I get it at away games, the occasional person moaning about "their" seats, but it isn't a hard concept to grasp at home games

So where on the ticketing website can you see where you have accrued your points? I know my points total but I’m interested to see which games they have or haven’t been awarded against.

Nope. I was at both of those away games. At no time did anyone check my seat number or direct me to where I should sit. When I got in both grounds it was clear that the annoying Stone Island-clad coked-up yoof were all in one section and those who like to stand and lead the singing were all in the middle at the back. It's inconceivable that all those people were allocated seats next to each other so they must have sat (or rather, stood) where they liked. I found seats away from the trouble makers but far enough back to get a decent view, without any reference to the seat numbers on my ticket, which I don't think I'd ever actually looked at.

Official ticketing website - "hello xxxx" dropdown menu - purchase history. Next to each game purchased, there is an "i". Click on that and decipher as best you can

I also went to Crewe and sat in the nearest seats available.

Why does this have to be so difficult. It should be easy for everyone to see their allocation and a list of how they collected. It is like some state secret!

I think behind the goal at Crewe it was more allocated seat than down the side which was a free for all.

As for Hartlepool when I had a look at the allocated seats the Steward just said you don't want to sit there grab a seat near the middle.

Crewe and Rochdale are the two I have been to in 2023. It was a ‘first come first gets the space’. Seats were ‘surplus’ at both games. Useful as if you have enough nouse, you work out which areas to avoid.

With Carlisle fans in the standing area behind the goal, a section of our fan base will head to the front of block 2 to trade insults all game. With Crewe then went straight to the end of the stand where the home fans were, and the same at Rochdale. So thats where to avoid this weekend.

To be fair that is what a lot of our fans did on Sunday night. All stood in the end block in the lower Kop (F block I think) simply to goad the away fans in Midland Rd. I am 95% certain the majority of people in block F weren't assigned seats there but I could be wrong

Yep, we were behind goal at Crewe and we sat in allocated seats. Down the side didn’t quite look like that from where I was sat.

    Absolutely.
There was no need for the ‘section of our fans’, to do it when we went to Salford at the end of last year, as they have virtually no support!
Always liked grounds like Port Vale, where you got a massive stand and could even sit down if you wanted to!

I can see there being a lot of trouble in the stands on Saturday if as is widely reported on social media that City fans have bought many home section tickets.

triskelionblue on their forum is having a bit of a meltdown at this.

Carlisle having to suspend ticket sales as Bradford fans buying in the home areas. Maybe explains why I was kicked off and had to reregister to get my ticket after three attempts despite me having bought tickets via that email already this season.

Any Bradford fans near me will be getting reported to the stewards.

Looking at their messageboard they've been registering on our ticket site since they knew who they played in the play offs causing people like me and other home fans a ton of aggravation selfish @?#&.

Also complaining about their allocation shame they didn't play Salford.

I'm so pissed with these twats I hope we give the arrogant selfish tossers a right drubbing on Saturday

What's the term? Cry more *sending hugs and kisses*

Someone also says we only sold out our allocation this morning, whilst this is technically correct, they were only put on sale to season ticket holders this morning aswell.

Sadly we are starting to get a bit of a reputation as a bunch of fans who cannot or will not follow rules.

if we’re not careful we’ll supersede Leeds fans as the Millwall of the North that everybody hates.

In the side stand at Crewe the stewards told us we had to sit in our allocated seats but then didn’t bother enforcing it.
