Well I got yesterday completely wrong. Was in the @JonButterfield camp, envisaging a heavy defeat. Very happy to be wrong and I only saw the second half but talk of a smash and grab job.

Big call out to Harry Lewis who was excellent on the second half showing

 

We were better than them by a margin in the 1st. I don’t recall Lewis making a save?

Ooh yes I'd forgotten Sutton, but I suppose he isn't a loanee but a permanent Harrogate player.

 

Talking of Foulds,he has played every game at Harrogate.I wonder if they will try to take him on a permenant basis come the seasons end.I dont really think he has a future at City.

 

You have to wonder what all the fuss was about bringing the kid Bola in then Foulds saying he wanted out, pointless piece of business IMO, both Ridehalgh and Foulds were capable of playing that position.

A few post match thoughts from yesterday

 

Yup, a grand day out!
Decent beer and a very nice (albeit expensive) chicken supreme in the pub and a great result to boot. What's not to like?

 

Put on this or another thread how confident I was before yesterday's game... Happy it came through! Mid week is huge, I think everyone is at least about 95% sure we will be in the play offs, but that 5% hope is why everyone is a football fan.

Mansfield not playing well again, looks like they are probably done. Salford won 3 in a row for the first time this season, another late winner too. Think they are that 1 team that end up with a late rise and on top form, hopefully Gillingham can dent that run before the knockout games.

Andy always gets a good pub before the game, we've had some cracking days out with the Dolly boys and what a way to end the day with an injury time winner, I'm hoping to be a regular again next season.
