    Great game. On the balance of the second half, Salford should have won but they lost balance in midfield when they took Elliott Watt off, possibly injured? . Crewe took advantage

    Yes that was a strange substitution but as the commontators said they wanted to bring the two big bruisers Morton and Smith on as Crewe looked weak in the air.

    The point at Walsall was never a bad one, it just wasn't the 'above and beyond' result many wanted.

    This result for Crewe is a belter for us.

    We've got to travel there later this month, and you can bet it won't be 4-3 Crewe lol

    Pleased for you Loyal, go safe. Nightmare for me yesterday almost 6 hours with M1 shut between Sheffield and Chesterfield then works around Birmingham Hope it’s better tonight and 3 points.

    Any idea how long those road works are going on around Sandbach Rod, as the Corn Dolly coach stops there for pre-match drinks.

    Looks long term. Goes down from four lanes (Smart motorway) to three. The funnel effect causes delays. In effect there are delays due to roadworks from around Sandbach to just north of Keele. it may well have cleared now.

    We have whizzed along the M6 today, much to my surprise. Hope it's the same coming back but believe there may be night time weekend closures. Hopefully we are through before that starts.
