    I included this line in my email to Ryan “It feels like you have simply binned us off”. Which is exactly what they are trying to do from the replies. Shocking how they are refusing to admit the disparity between 25 years and everybody else. Why are they insisting that Midland Road buy a suite ticket to keep my 25 year ticket running. There are no suites in MR and I don’t want a bloody suite upgrade, so why should I have to pay for one to keep my ticket running and pay towards suite renovations when I don’t use them.

    I posted that if a 25 year season ticket didn't take the option of purchasing the coming season their 25 year deal would not be valid, and got told that was not the case.

    Strange response to Steve's e-mail. He has basically said that 25 yearers are paying for the suite, not the ticket. Which is what @Bronco@Bronco has said all along.

    This is the scenario I couldn't get my head round, I believe the original offer from Julian was as a 25 yearer you could select a seat of your choice anywhere in the stadium and the new deal would be, you got your season ticket for free but you had to play for a suite upgrade.
    So how does that work for someone who was happy with their seat and didn't want to move, taking where I sat in the Midland Road Stand as an example, there was a kiosk selling food hot drinks and canned beer but they could not be classed as suites as everyone who sat in the Midland Road Stand could use the kiosk ?.

    Exactly. Nobody buys a 25 year ST in order to sit in the suites and get a 'free' match ticket thrown in. It's bullshit. We pay to watch our team play.

    Well, the head of ticketing is now saying it is the case.
    When I was in the ticket office on Monday I was told that I could buy an OAP ST this year but revert to my 25 year ticket in future years if I chose. It's now clear that that is not the case. As far as the club is concerned you either pay for a suite, whether or not you ever use one, or give up your 25 year ticket.

    I was also told that the decision to price 25 year tickets higher than OAP tickets was a mistake, not a deliberate policy to force out 25 yearers. I now doubt that that is the case - it seems deliberate to me, judging by the totally cloth-eared responses from the club.

    It is sickening how MY club are forcing me into a corner to buy an unwanted suite after nearly 60 years of following the club and playing for them for 4 years.

    If doesnt suprise me Steve, the left hand doesn't know what the right hands doing, when the loyalty points scenario came into play at the start of this season I asked the same question to two parties, once I've purchased my season ticket does that automatically give me X amount of loyalty points or do I have to get my season ticket scanned before each game in our case at the bottom of the Sunwin Stand, one source said I got my full allocation of loyalty points once I'd purchased our season tickets and the other said our tickets had to be scanned each game to accumulate my loyalty points, hence when my grandson has had to work away I've taken both mine and his tickets with me and get the steward to scan both tickets.

    The suites are already rammed and up to the limit according to Mick Lamb. You couldn’t possibly accommodate all ST holders in them.

    On taking the original offer from Julian at the time mine and my brothers deal was a seat in the EXJ area and the upgrade to the then "Patrons Bar" which after our great run in the Capital One Cup to the Wembley final then became the 2012/13 suite,.the club then made the decided they could no longer offer us that suite as it would become an area for hospitality now the Whitney's Hospitality Suite, telling us if we wanted to use any suite facilities we would have to use the McCall/Hendrie suites, as I say I haven't used the suites for years (my choice) but to then increase the cost by 50% IMO is taking the piss, but hay I cant take it with me and the precious time I spend with my grandson at home games cant have a price put on them, so I'll pay and get on with life.

    Has anyone had any clarity on the clubs new policy that to access any of the suites you must have a seat in those areas?
    When I checked yesterday there were no seats available to purchase in the Bantams Bar executive areas so how could I possibly move there even if I wanted to?
    Yet another example of the club charging £60 more for a suite upgrade that I now can’t possibly use.

    Is that the case? Can't you access the Hendrie suite (or whatever it's called these days) from anywhere in the main stand?

    I think it's always been the case that you had to sit in the Bantams Bar enclosure to use the bar, regardless of whether you were a 25 yearer. But not for the other suites.
