    These comments are ridiculous.

If we'd been on that kind of form and some team had come and limited us to 2 shots on target and left with a point, we'd be heaping praise on them for doing a professional job.

I can't tell if people are getting more riled up because of the lack of games we've been able to attend, or we have fans that just look at the table and think everyone below us is worse than us.

@banbrotam@banbrotam getting as bad as Hughes, both the refereeing decisions in the Rochdale have been proven technically correct, even if the halliday incident was "soft" as they say.

We didnt have to fight attack with attack to try get a positive outcome, there are more than one way to skin a cat, it's more the fact we didn't try to force a positive outcome at all.

They didn't dominate us, apart from the 20 mins after half time, however only one team tried to win the game. I'm not saying we have a right to stroll to Stockport and take the three points, but we damn sure have a right to fight for them. We didn't tonight, we fought for one.

At some point we are going to have to go on a long winning run to either push for automatics or get a favourable play off position. We are miles off that currently.

Stockport have conceded 4 goals in 10 league games.

There's a difference between facing a good, well-organised unit that don't give much away and 'not going for it'.

I honestly don't know where you're coming from.

Our final ball was poor at times, Derbyshire never found a man in the last 10 minutes for example, but that's not the same as not fighting for 3 points.

I think it was the defeat. I will repeat that the defeat. For the avoidance of doubt, I will repeat that again, the defeat, against Rochdale at home which has cost us far more than tonight.

I would also add the defeat against Stockport, at home, when they were 19th, I will repeat that the defeat against Stockport at home, has really cost us.

Tonight’s draw, when we were clearly the second best (to be fair against the form team) was a decent outcome.

However I go back to those two appalling defeats. Rochdale and Stockport at home. Those were the absolute shockers.

Had we won them, and we really should have, we would have been third.

The abject failure is those two games, home defeats against teams in the bottom five. Appalling!

What's annoying to me is we sign these players and so far they have shown nothing better than the players they were brought in to replace, not a great game you look at the corners Stockport took and the vast majority were hit into the danger zone I didn't see one that didn't beat the first defender, we get one and it finishes up at the half way line, just what is Hughes teaching them.
I thought Clayton had a decent game to say it was his first proper run out with his colleagues, I haven't seen anything to suggest Costelloe offers anything going forward, sorry I'm bias but Oliver looks lost, I get that it was Bola's first game but most were expecting him to be bombing down the line as a wing back.
Not sure if Banks is fit enough to return next game but if he is both he and walker have to start along with our 16 goal striker.

Can't disagree but Stockport weren't much better, I believe most fair minded fans would be happy to come away from Edgeley Park with a point what was disapointing was the way we picked the point up.
Will Hughes say his formation stopped Stockport playing, it's hard to disagree but it was a poor game all round, you're correct if we could do the business at Valley Parade these piss poor away performances would be more acceptable.

You've said that already Mr Angry, I'm not the one arguing with everyone because you think your opinion is the only valid one.

How ironic is that the lad gives his all for 10 minutes or so coming off at the end of the game with a broken nose, what are you failing to grasp Hughes, he's very much the type of player you were always up the battle he's wasted on the bench.

OK, back a while ago. I'm not sure of the consensus/feedback from the game tonight but that was a really good point.

We negated the threat from Stockport. We swamped midfield with energy, a decent show from the 3 central players and Madden needs to get out of Roms pocket, now the game is over.

Two teams, where defence was on top. Honestly, not a classic and there was a fair bit of derision in the away end towards the tactics but a great point.

Clayton, I felt had energy, closed spaces, tackled and was decent in distribution and gets my MOTM, just in front of Rom.

Or no away goals in 5 games. We can and do use, stats to further our context

Now we have Clayton for CM I’d like to see 4231 again. We have an abundance of wingers and Clayton at CM with Smallwood should be a decent enough pairing. The narrow diamond makes no sense given our wide attacking options and we look considerably worse than we did playing 4231 earlier in the season.

A professional job :) this sort of performance has gone on for ages now ......... hardly any shots ........ wideman doing nothing and midfield doing very little but now we go to Stockport it was a professional job :) jeeeeeezzzzz I suppose had we got a draw against Rochdale it would have been also a professional job ........... still don’t be coming on here grumbling if we play the same against Mansfield you can class that as another professional job .......... and folk wonder why the club is fooked when some on here are happy with mediocrity:( ...................I could actually get it if we where beating the teams we should be beating and going away and getting points but we aren’t .............the chance to ramp up the pressure on Northampton lost again ........... still we will probably find ourselves out of the playoffs come Saturday and yet we should be over the moon with it ........... all that money put into the squad ........ all the scouting system set up and for what ?????? Another game where the keeper could have sat and done a jigsaw for what he had to do

It was a frustrating watch but a points a point. I'm struggling to see how he fits all the pieces in the starting 11 when they are fit, particularly with the diamond formation. For me, Banks and Walker must start, Cook and Derbyshire are worth a go, but for who? Surely Smallwood misses out for Banks, maybe Walker for Eisa, Cook for Oliver and Derbyshire for Costelloe, (which maybe harsh on him because the hoof ball didn't suit him at all). We've Nevers with pace, Chapman who's never started in his natural position and Osadebe due back soon.
Yesterday was a spoiling game but we need to offer more, lots more. A squad of decent individuals such as this, should be able to dominate a game longer than 5 minutes per half.

Whilst that’s true at this moment , games in hand doesn’t equate to points does it? I’ll dig one of your exact same comments of you desire?

Just take a moment to look at how many shots Lewis actually had to save last night. There was one header from memory?
