Other than the Top 2 and Leyton have had a poor few weeks, who else has "been convincing all season"?

I swear lots of fans don't watch the other teams and so seem to think that we're behind on quality of footie - as they all play far better than us.

I sat through the Orient v Stevenage and Salford v Northampton matches. None of these teams played remarkably better or worse than we have done, all season.

I repeat, once again, it's League 2. We were tosh for as half of our games in 2012/13 and even back in 1982 - our last auto promotion out of here, had lots of matches where we were poor.

Yes. I predict that the Smallwood, Clayton, Gilli 'axis' will prove very good for the rest of the season.

Not certain why this is seen as controversial. As you can see below Smallwood is ranked as 12th best player in this division. Clayton is simply a good player when in a midfield three - as is Gilly.

Shat our pants away to Stockport. Not once tonight did we go for the win. Not one for this when we look back it might be a good point bollocks, it wasn't. It was turgid. Simply tossing this season away.

We had on deflected shot on target all evening, and failed to create even a half chance. I can't even remember a cross going in their to be honest.

We are carrying passengers, Costello and Bola looked like they had been chosen from the away end at kick off. Miles off what we need currently, two wasted signings.

Another thing, that was a packed away end tonight yet you could hear pin drop. He is sucking the life out of the fans as games go by. It's the same at home.

Their kop sounded like ours should, yet we are being nothing at all to get behind

We weren’t playing Rochdale , we were playing a club three points behind us……. And remain three points behind us!

If you changed the players names, this could be any moaning post from any January 24th from the last six years.

Or even 24th of January 2012 or 2014 - when lots of fans wanted Parky out.

So we because it's happened numerous times previously, it's ok to accept it?

I'm more bothered about the performance to be honest. Before the game I'd have probably taken a point, but the way we went about it, didn't sit right. We showed them too much respect and never once , from minute one to minute 94 , tried to win the game.

You can crow until the cows come home about it been a been a good point. It would have been had we managed to beat either Rochdale or Wimbledon which we didn't. Failing to win them means converting some away draws into wins which look far from certain to be happening anytime soon

We've lost 1 out of the last 5 league games with three of those matches against play-off/promotion challenging teams.

We're getting back to that early season hard to beat. (and let's face it, if the ref in the Rochdale games, was doing his job probably and yes us not feeling sorry for ourselves when that penalty went against us, it would be 0 defeats in 5)

The main issue for me is the passing , How can other teams pass to a man while we seem intent on hitting it into spaces or just aimlessly hoofing it anywhere and Bola intent on hitting it out of play

Wimbledon had lost just 1 out of 13. I don't get this, where you think we have a right to breeze into places like that and Stockport - play scintillating footie and win every match, I dunno, 3-0 I suppose.

Our play and approach tonight was no different to what Stevenage are doing.

And than goodness Hughes didn't set us up for a 'you attack / we attack' match as that's exactly what Stockport wanted. Note, them getting increasingly frustrated towards the end.

It was a good and solid performance. The type that has won us promotions in the past.

Yes. The Rochdale result stank. But you get this referee at that match and we're winning it. However, it was worrying to see how the players heads sunk after they equalised.

None of that here tonight. I was delighted to see Smallwood and Co. kick a few bodies in the air and watch Stockport get all frustrated.

That's how you get by in L2.

Reading some of the comments tonight is laughable as I said in an earlier post all the talk this morning was how potent their front line was and yet they were no more potent than us. This was a difficult game and we came away with a hard won but deserved point. Yes we need to be better in attack going forward but tonight was a great point
