Why do you believe Cook will be moved on, surely he can't be accused of not doing his job ?.

 

Someone on twitter claiming we have a left back lined up and it's not the lad from Huddersfield.

 

Would feel it’s a shame for Matt Foulds if this is correct,rather bring on one of our own than bring another left back in. Especially if it’s another 20 year old Premier league loanee.

 

Because no manager would drop a 16 goal striker if they rated them.

 

I posted this article earlier from Yorkshire Live : "Headley is an aggressive attacking full-back and will now have the chance to catch Mark Fotheringham's eye in training. As we disgust the other day we aren't going to get any sort of decent money for him, so Hughes has to ask himself can I replace Cook with the money we receive for him, not a chance in hell, as we know there are no guarantees in football certainly with regards replacing a 16 goal leading scorer does Hughes hope another player at the club can match his goal scoring record this season, come to think of it any season the lads been at Valley Parade, many thought a guy called Arron Mclean would rip league one up when we got him he had decent pedigree with regards goal scoring, and we know how that turned out.

 

Yet Headley didn't even make the bench for 'udders yesterday

 

Maybe Headey hasn't caught Mark Fotheringham's eye in training yet, I did notice he was not selected for the Hull game yesterday.

 

Their best bet would be to send him to us until the summer!

 

A 19 year old Huddersfield defender, joined Bradford Park Avenue on loan, earlier today.
Maybe the reported link, with the wrong Bradford club.
If we bring a left back in , surely one would leave. No room for 3 in our squad.

 

But in truth, this makes Doyle-like sense - putting a good player out to a promotion rival who's well bedded in at the club, whilst bringing in a young unproven Burnley player who's been suffering from injuries on loan. Don't understand this one at all. Has Young had fall-outs with Hughes and Hodges?

By the sounds of it the kid was knocking on Hughes door in frustration obviously wanting more game time, Hughes saying it got to a point where we thought Young would be better off going out on loan to play games, 5 minutes into the clip.

Thanks for this Dave. Makes sense for Young - but not for City. This could become another Doyle disaster.

 

Time will tell but I did like Hughes's counter argument, especially his last comment with regards Young maybe damaging Bradford City "we'll back ourselves"

 

Unfortunately not Andy : " Avenue confirmed that young Huddersfield Town defender David Adewoju has joined the club on a month-long loan deal".

 

Well we just have to back Hughes judgement on that but if a 20 year old lad can get into this brilliant Burnley team even if for only 4 games he must have something about him. I am looking forward to seeing him next Saturday

What you are failing to understand that in the modern day that a forwards job is more than scoring goals!

Time to get into the modern world mate and understand that game of today!

 

Burnley aren't brilliant, the championship is just poor.
