    They still are. Their deaths were a conspiracy theory. I saw them both in E Pelici on Bethnal Green Road last time I had breakfast there. Ronnie even muttered the eternal words to Carol the owner .........................."scuse me, could I ave anuver egg please".

    Seriously, if you ever get to the East End a visit to E Pelici for breakfast is an absolute must, and the walk up from Whitechapel takes you directly past where they lived on Vallance Road (now long gone and replaced by social housing, opened by Charlie Boy).

    It was suggested on Monday there might be 2cin before the Rochdale game. It's now Thursday and no sign of a 2nd new arrival and all seems very very quiet. Do we need to shift more out first I wonder?

    Gills signed Ollie Hawkins, big target man who can also play CB. Was incredibly effective for Kenny Jackett at Portsmouth, easy move for him.

    Also apparently in talks with Jayden Stockley from Charlton and George Lapslie from Mansfield. Stockley was decent at this level for Exeter a while back, not done well in the champ or L1. Lapslie would be a huge loss for Mansfield, got 5 goals and 5 assists from CM in 19 starts this season. Mansfield have offered lapslie a new deal but Clough made out that he's asked to go back home to London.
