The bar has been set by the club employing MH. Can you imagine what the reaction would be like after the quality and professionalism we have seen so far this season?

Looking through their results and highlights, it's a flat back 5 mainly. The wing backs push on when they are chasing or for the first 20 ish then looks like they sit back as soon as they go 1 up. In the Salford game, it didn't look like either full back ventured over the half way line much and Stevenage only had 32% of the ball, expecting a similar thread tomorrow.

Reeves a sitting DM too with the other two mids more box to box types. Tends to be Reid and Norris up front, neither look like the biggest lads from memory or clips, be surprised if they are 6ft but get stuck in. Standard Evans type, seemingly once they start to sit back, the amount of petty fouls come flooding in. Not expecting a thriller tomorrow, especially if they get an early goal.

Just checked, both are 5'11 on their info. Watching highlights, Norris has kind of an Andy Cook thing physically, where they aren't exactly huge but get stuck into everything. Reid the more pacey of the two.

Take Parkys first season out and those seasons after were some of the best during my many years watching Bradford City, he built a team around players he knew could play his formation and it worked, IMO I think the hoof ball comments are overplayed, one thing for sure no matter where we
traveled to away games you always knew we had a chance of bringing points home.

City 2-1 with second goal coming in 97th minute just when Stevenage are playing the dark arts to see the game out and Evans gets knocked out by Hughes.

I always thought he was a very cautious manager in the league. Yet his teams could play very good football. I think this is why we did so well in the cups during his tenure. You had to go all out for the win in these games. The only times he didn't do well in a big one off game were the play off semi final against Millwall and the League Cup final v Swansea where the quality of the opposition sent him all cautious again.
The Chelsea away win was very good football indeed.

I'll say this quietly but not having James Hanson for those two semi final games was a big blow.

I am not as confident as I normally am with this one Tony, probably the curse of the obnoxious two faced oaf. He always gets teams “playing” initially , then the bubble always goes bang!
    I hope I am wrong!

I wouldn’t trust that fu@king fat slug if he told me tomorrow was Saturday.
He spouts what he thinks will get the fans on his side.
I guarantee within 5 minutes of the kick off his little puppet Raynor will be all arms out wide in mock dismay at a decision they don’t get.
And then all innocent when the 4th official tells them to calm down.
It’s no secret I hate with a passion the fat tw@t and his assistant and everything they stand for,

However,he knows the crowd hate him and direct all their anger and vitriol towards him(guilty as charged) and this seems to deflect the pressure off his players.

His record against us(for all the teams he’s managed) is as good as it gets and he seems to have got this group of players playing for him even if it’s not pretty and full of the dark arts.

Biggest test of the season so far.
Without a big big proper local derby game(Harrogate meh) this is the game I’d like to win most

They need to be up for this game from the start because I can guarantee 100% that the Stevenage players will.

Please dont let me down MH and the players.

We can’t afford to have 45 minute performances this weekend. We have to get to a level and have them on the back foot without leaving ourselves recklessly wide open. Big game in central midfield and we need Chapman to get more involved from the off. For me he’s been both lucky and unlucky. Lucky in that Walker is injured otherwise I think he’d be benched, and unlucky that he’s not playing in his best position. We need at least 2 of the 3 behind Cook to perform over 90 minutes, not 1 of the 3 over 45 that we’ve seen so far.

    Tight 1-0 win for me.

They are certainly fighting for Evans. They way it sounds to me is a bit like Adams in the sense of getting it forward quickly and getting the shots off. They are all tall at the back as well. Pace will be the key. And they've had a few late goals as well so they're a fit team. We really don't want to go one down. Neighbour has threatened to come round and listen to the commentary with me.
