If, and a very big IF, Sunak somehow wins the race, for the first time ever in my voting lifetime, I could not vote for the Conservatives. Not that I could ever vote for Labour though. I would simply not vote at all

Just read a report in the Guardian and it said in latest polling Boris would have won if his name was on the ballot paper. Doesn’t say much if the party members rate him higher than the current options

I know. Not sure whether that says more about the Tory membership or the two leadership candidates. The fact that the members are so supportive of the incompetent idle liar is a measure of how out of step they are with the population as a whole.
