Very true @Fordy117 unfortunatly some fans are quite happy to use that as their main argument, he got better the more he played, he liked a physical challenge ran around a lot but to seriously think he could be any part of a sucsessful strike partnership and score goals is IMO being super optimistic.

For that to happen - The lad will seriously need to step up, and take advice as and when he can.
His commitment and effort is plainly on display, and has a physical presence to worry many a defender. But he needs to show and thus prove he can learn and compete at this level. Effort does not create desire, it's the alround opposite.
I too will not write him off - Just yet. However, still such a long way to go, and some really hard training and coached miles to put in. Make or break for the lad, I'm afraid.
The stupid thing in my mind is - Once his first goal flies in ........ More will follow. Confidence in your ability.

Hmmm. He played 4-5 games in a team devoid of confidence and morale. In an improved team he will do well I feel. Far too early to be writing him off IMHO.

It really isnt his ball control is awful, he's unaware of anything going on around him and looks as likely to score as our gk. We've seen many players come here and end up on the scrap heap and he wouldn't even succeed at park avenue. Worse footballer I've seen at vp and that includes Darren Morgan
